From: Love Hastings I don't think they will kill us. At least for a very long time. You may be right. They may be realizing what a shot in the foot it would be, since the blogrum has so far been a bout as successful as New Coke. They won't admit it, and i expect this forum to remain mired in obsolesence.

From: Brenda Connolly My team just kicked the prims out of your team. J..E...T...S!
But we lost our best running back in the process.
Besides, I have my World Series from Hell to deal with.......The New York Yankeess vas The Philadelphia Phillies. The 2 most hated teams right now for a Mets fan. The NY Rangers are not doing to shabby at all in hockey. 8-3-1 for 17 points in the standings. Dallas Stars are having a mediocre start, with 11 games and a 5-2-4 record. The contraversial looser reward keeping them in the middle of the pack with 4 points for overtime losses. Calgary is leading the Canadian teams at 10 games with 7-2-1 for 15 points. They will be playing Colorado (the top ranked team with 20 points) tonight in Calgary. Although Calgary has consistanly been putting the puck in the net averageing over 4 goals per game, the Colorado Avalanche have the #1 goaltender on their side. This should be a good game and even though it is early in the season it could well be one of those key games to solidify the Flames and shift the momentum of the season.

From: Maureen Boccaccio LOL...when I got 92,000, I didn't take the screenshot right away. And when I remembered to do so..like 10 seconds later, someone had deleted posts. It sat there for over 10 minutes so I assumed no one was watching the numbers.

The Rangers are a great 1st half team..they always seem to fizzle at the end. Hockey wise , I exercise my dual citizenship and root for the New Jersey Devils as well as the Rangers.

But while I had the camera out, I took pics of our babies. Here is Loki, our Siberian Husky -- he is loving this weather: And this is Spanky - he is 1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Great pyrenees, but he is 13 yrs old and therefore just about ready to leave us: .

Geez - I called a Customer Service number this morning. The answering message said to dial the number of the person's extension if I knew it, otherwise to press zero for assistance. I needed to talk to a live person and did not know any extensions, so I pressed zero. I then hear "We're sorry but the system operator is unavailable at this time, transferring to the backup operator". Then "We're sorry but the backup operator is unavailable at this time. You may enter your party's extension number if you know it". They must be taking lessons from LL.

Lil,
First, I really hate snow, so my condolences. It will be like that here soon enough. And also, you must really like to barbeque!

We do a smoked turkey party every year -- smoke 3-5 turkeys, put out some snacks and drinks, and have about 50-60 of our closest friends over, all of whom bring something to add to the food and drink pile. This was our 13th or 14th year of having the party.
