People are just dying to get in there.  ... I, apparently, will have drugs available to me when I get home. Some kind of pain killer and anti-botics. And then I get to face dentist tomorrow, finally found out. I imagine that all of my savings, what that is still left, will be placed into my mouth. And I know, from prior experience, that this will not be a one visit procedure.- _____________________

The WORST part of having teeth yanked without being put "out"... you can FEEL your jaw swivel 90 degrees and HEAR the crunch of bone. Best part was, one tooth had roots long enough to poke into my sinus cavity. While it helped straighten out my sinus issues, for the next few days I was able to shoot liquid thru my mouth, up into my sinuses & out my nose!!! I still have 3 of the teeth that remained intact when extracted. Its kinda cool to see bits of MY jaw bone still attached. I might have to post pics of them. FYI: when having a cavity drilled & filled, I DONT use Novocaine!! LOL! I've fallen asleep in the chair while the dentist filed down a tooth to put a cap on it. No novocaine with that either!! Jeez! Reading that was like watching a horror movie! |

We had our first frost of the season last night. Clover was teasing me this morning because I say I like the colder weather. I like cuddeling under a blanket by the fire and watching the frost through the widows, but going out to scrape the windshield is not one of the perks of cooler weather.
I get spring fever too. I just like change. _____________________

Heard about the content theft thing... god, what next? I guess it's a reason not to give up your day job.  Also have to post more kitten vids, they have also been keeping me very busy as they become stronger, bigger and more destructive every day. I have constructed a barrier across the front of my desk to protect my computer stuff using binder clips and garden fencing. Everything else that can't be nailed down is being put into containers or drawers. Hope Lexxi's visit to the dentist goes well today and we can all STOP talking about dental problems... And another indication of how poorly some children's education is:
~~~~ In a Seattle Washington college classroom, they were discussing the qualifications to be President of the United States . It was pretty simple - the candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age. However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president . The class was taking it in and letting her rant, but everyone's jaw hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating, 'What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by C-section?' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  _____________________

Thank goodness, Lexxi. I trust that by now you are much more comfortable. I hope it doesn't turn out to be too horribly expensive to get the problem fixed. Looked at my teeth and sent me home. I have an appointment with a specialist to yank a tooth out on Friday. (the halloween party is that day, yes? I miss. Likely asleep.) Then I go back to original place for a cleaning. So the rest of the teeth can be then taken care of. Later. Wow, they didn't really do anything, but I'm quite tired now. oh. well no, the pain medication said it caused drowsiness, not the antibotics. I haven't taken the third pain pill yet. I've been holding off as I need to have enough to get to Friday. Sorry about all the teeth talk (edit in: hopefully they don't fire me for taking days off for teeth when I don't have days to take off; stupid illness induced decision to take Friday of last week off) |
