Brenda, Vegas says 'Hai'...........it's nice here, warm but not too warm. Low to mid 80's, nice sunny day. Had dinner with my son last night at Gordon Biescher Brewery, had Asian BBQ salmon and 2 glasses of wine. Today going to the movies to see Paranormal Activities. Tonite going to see a Halloween thing at Caesar's.

The Forum Cartel will hold our 3rd annual Halloween party at the Hangout on Sat. Oct 31, from Noon - Midnight SLT. I've got DJs booked in 2-hr timeslots to cover the entire time - some jazz, blues, classic rock, and swing.

Oh I just saw this! The latest news I have heard:

She continues to do great and is feeling more like herself every day. She started physical therapy and was able to sit on the edge of her bed for 20 minutes, a big accomplishment considering all that she has been through. It will still be at least eight weeks before she can put any weight on her feet.

I saw an old friend there I have not seen in SL for a very long time.

Just got an email from my ex-fiancee.

She's now dating her "friend" ( a female), spent most of her weekend so drunk she cant remember getting home, and working at Walmart.

THIS is the girl I planned to marry for the 1st time, help put thru school, by a car for, and have kids with.

YEP!

I can count my blessings.

Can't wait for the next "I was drunk & blacked out & got raped" email. There will be NO sympathy from me.

All I can say is, without her, I can afford anything I want AND my bills are paid on time at the first of the month while she struggles to afford a UHaul to get the rest of her stuff.

Did I mention I have health benefits while she's trying to get on Medicaid/Medicare??

Thank you Lil. I went to a fund raiser for a local Fire Department. The menu was basically huge slabs of London Broil on wedges of French bread which they just brought out by the trayful, accompanied by piles of fries and ptchers of beer. I think there may have been a salad mentiond somewhere.
