From: Scylla Rhiadra Ok, soooooo . . . In an effort to try to avoid "boring," I thought I'd try messing about with Photoshop. The result is sort of half inspired by Halloween, and half by The Chemical Brothers' "The Setting Sun" . . . ETA: Oh geez that's big . . . um, sorry! Hmmm brings to mind that time these two twins and me........................Oh wait that story isn't PG.

SPACE VIKINGS!!!!
(I TOLD you!) Space Vikings? That will lower you nerd score a few hundred points. On the other hand, if you knew they were Klingon sisters, add 5 to your nerd score. If you knew the were were the Duras sisters, add 25. If you knew they were named Lursa and B'Etor, add 100. If you can correctly pronounce B'Etor because you know that ' is a letter with a certian sound and not just an accent or pause, add 250.

Yes, though you are an absolute darling little girl in your frilly dresses, often I can see you out there rolling in the mud in a pair of Oshkosh-like overalls or even a denim-overall skirt outfit.

I didn't know he was on TV, but I remember he narrated some of the storybook records I had when I was little (yes, vinyl 33's).

From: Malia Writer I didn't know he was on TV, but I remember he narrated some of the storybook records I had when I was little (yes, vinyl 33's). The was big here in New York during the 60's and 70's and then became a sort of cult hero. From: someone His greatest success came in New York with "The Soupy Sales Show" — an ostensible children's show that had little to do with Captain Kangaroo and other kiddie fare. Sales' manic, improvisational style also attracted an older audience that responded to his envelope-pushing antics.
Sales, who was typically clad in a black sweater and oversized bow-tie, was once suspended for a week after telling his legion of tiny listeners to empty their mothers' purse and mail him all the pieces of green paper bearing pictures of the presidents.
The cast of "Saturday Night Live" later paid homage by asking their audience to send in their joints. His influence was also obvious in the Pee-Wee Herman character created by Paul Reubens.
Sales is survived by his wife, Trudy, and two sons, Hunt and Tony, a pair of musicians who backed David Bowie in the band Tin Machine. http://www.northjersey.com/arts_entertainment/television/Soupy_Sales_TV_comic_in_60s_dies_at_83_.html

Whew! I finally got my computer intimidated into working well enough I can get in world and post in the forums without making a virgin sacrifice to the Micro(manage)Soft gods. And I was just about to buy Windows 7 and start all over. I will probably still do that. (Personally I think Vista was a marketing strategy to get people to buy Windows 7.) Yes I have a new avatar picture. So my real world picture is older than my other avatar looked. So sue me. From: Rhonda Huntress Space Vikings? That will lower you nerd score a few hundred points. I remember Soupy Sales as a panelist on games shows like "To Tell the Truth" in the 60's. That is - I mean, I HEARD about it. He was a smart guy. Come to think of it he had a Second Life name decades before SL! I missed ya'll. .

I missed ya'll. . wb Weston, we missed you too. How long has it been, anyway, that I've been hanging on to XP because I heard such bad things about Vista? It seems that although I saw every episode at least twice I have now forgotten a lot of Star Trek trivia. Oh well.

When I get a new machine at the end of the year I'll be able to bypass Vista totally, and go from XP to Windows 7. I don't think I've even seen Vista in person.

Probably the coolest thing you will ever see that involves a fat man, a pound of gunpowder and two anvils. http://www.break.com/index/shooting-an-anvil-200-feet-in-the-air.html

I missed ya'll. . Hi Weston wb. I missed you too. I like your new av pic, while I think babies are darling, there's much to be said for some maturity too, which your av pic now implies. You've grown up a tad, very nice, distinguished doggie.
