This Friday, another Cartel outing to check out Lindal's class. Note that this is NOT a griefing event. While some of us might offer up a bit of friendly ribbing, we will not be going there to completely disrupt the class and we most definitely do not want to actually run off the newbs attending. For those that have never attended one of Lindal's classes, you'll find that she does a very entertaining and informative job of it.
And for those that do not even know what I am talking about -- Lindal teaches a weekly class titled "Sex and Relationships in Second Life". So, hang on . . . we can show up and heckle . . . oops, I mean, observe Lindal in action?? Really? /me checks her calendar. Oh. And I get that we don't want to "run off the newbs." But what if we want to run off WITH a newb?

Burning Life - didn't note the exhibit names or locations. Monkeying around on the monkey bars  taking a little break  a different kind of break (i peeked)  Tokyo Stage. a magnificant build! it is HUGE. you can see Eli and other avatars down inside, on the dance floor.

And speaking of Halloween...  you mean we weren't? For those who do celebrate Halloween, do you carve jack-o-lanterns? Paint them? Me, I carve 4-5 each year, but I also carved some of those " Funkins " several years ago, and those get pulled out, and I put battery-operated flickering lights inside them. |

It's official (well as official as this is when doctors don't want patients in their office due to contagion) we have Swine Flu in my house. I don't think it really is Swine though...it doesn't actually seem bad enough from what I have read in the pamphlet. Mo, we carve them, but potatoes are also carved here. Hardly anyone does it though, just for nostalgia. What we really like is fire. Ah, the fires during the construction boom of the Celtic Tiger, those were spectacular... Aw Lil I missed you at Josh's, too bad  Mo, thank you but you are so funny. My card is an Intel 945 GM on a lappy. It's just a matter of tweaking windlights and hoping nothing blows up. |

Oh, Laurin, I'm sorry to hear that the flu has invaded your house. Having been struck by it a while back...I hope whomever has it gets lots of rest, and feels better soon. (takes a while) Speaking of Halloween and fire: My civic association has a big event on Halloween in the neighborhood park. In the middle of the baseball diamond, we construct a HUGE bonfire, and everyone comes from far and near to the park on Halloween. We hand out cider, and gingersnaps, and those glow ring necklace thingies for the kids. Man, I love that bonfire. It must be my Celtic roots. So that means every single kid in the area comes to my house (right next to the park) to trick or treat. You do NOT want to know how much candy I buy each year!!!  |
