I found the problem with the grid and all the lag we've been having lately - the hamster has busted out of his cage and is no longer spinning the wheel:

I tried to fill in, but the wheel is just too big for me.

Given what they were giving him to drink, I don't know why he ran away:

Love the pics, Lil and Laurin!

I did make it into Burning Life, now that the weekend crowd are back at their day jobs. To my surprise, I actually had success with both Emerald and Nicholaz Bleeding Edge viewers, but I suspect that on the weekend the Nicholaz would have won hands down.

Saw some creative things there and am enjoying BL much more than I expected I would. I'm trying to keep my blog up with my BL pics and am already behind!

It cracks me up that there is always something a bit funny in the breakfast Mo brings us... today's was hotdogs, tomatoes and eggs... spa breakfast? Say what?

Lula, it's good to hear the encouraging news about your friend, may it get better and better.

...

I found out last night that one of the guys I used to hangout with on nights out died yesterday. Its shaken me up a bit. He was only 18. :(
I'm so sorry to hear this, Claire. *HUGS*

I was wondering around and decided to check out some of the misc Halloween setups, when a mummy tried to carry me off:

After finally getting free, I decided to try a little Halloween worship to keep the monsters away:

Not sure my worshipping was too successful though, since I just sort of collapsed in an odd spot later:

.

lol...rough night, Lil? :p

and oooo, your hair is much longer than I've seen it before. Pretty. :)

*laughs* Last night, we took a look at Bentham Manor. Things took a while to rez there for me, but that place was chock full of stuff to see and do. It's a bit on the commercial side, but still might be worth a visit, if you're looking for something Halloweeny.
(I didn't get any good pics since rezzing never really quite completed for me.)

Dang, that is one big hamster wheel!!

Corona? Maybe it's refreshing, but I think he'd need more nourishment. You know...like chocolate or something. :)

Ooh, yummy crepes. We had some on Saturday at an open air French food market. Delicious :)

I got a couple at Bentham yesterday:

I loved the lighting (in rotten melon I think?) and the quirky toadstools:

Hopefully it will lead you to my store, so you can buy my stuff. Then I can buy a new computer so I can try this Emerald thingie and be a cool kid too.

Isn't it so that Emerald is good for low end machines? I run it on my crappy lappy.

Ordered myself a new and cheap laptop though, but with a 512MB Geforce card (G103M). Not a rocking card, but waaaaay better then the Intel 945 card I have now :-) Hoping to be able to test it out tomorrow!
Probably does not make me a cool kid though :D

Do they make it in non Windlight? I can't run any WL viewer on this machine.

No, but you could set all the windlight related graphic sliders down to super low. If you decide to give it a try, the download page has a 'normal' and 'optimized' setup - you would want the 'normal' as the 'optimized' means it has been modified to run better and faster on newer model computers. Also, even though you don't do voice, you should download the extra pack because it has some misc performance tweaks in it.

I'll offer this up for breakfast:

Bacone
The Bacone, as the name suggests, consists of a cone made out of bacon, filled with scrambled eggs and country gravy, and topped with a biscuit. Created for a bacon-themed cooking competition, this breakfast dish may elicit cheers from some.

or maybe

Elvis Donuts
"The Elvis Donut" is a glazed donut covered in peanut butter and topped with slices of bananas and piece of bacon. Unlike many of the other concoctions, this treat has some nutritional benefits.

No thanks. Windlight turned down low looks worse than no Windlight at all on my machine. I'll stick with my Cool Viewer for now.

Hmm, had not thought of that. That would suck.
