I went to Burning Life last night and checked out Marianne and Josh's builds. It wasn't very laggy even though a fair amount of people were there.

Josh's is a sort of beauty spa, with a boiling cauldron hot tub.

Mari's is a playground with a stage. Her I-Haul truck is parked next to it, which I got a kick out of seeing. I also finally met Pygar.

I was pretty lost at BL last year, but this year there seems to be a lot more to see, a lot builds and it seemed like either Josh or Mari's were good places to start and fan out.

Clover has to work again today. When I am home on the weekends and she is gone I just do not feel complete.

I went to BL yesterday and the lag was so awful I couldn't move.

On the bright side, I went to "The Greatest HALLOWEEN RIDE in the world ever!" instead and it was way cool.

Last day when The Man burns and the playa starts to shut down is Sun Oct 25th with "leave no trace" on Nov 1.

FYI with regards to lag, they are restarting all the regions daily around 6am SLT so it might be a nice time to explore early in the am SLT if you are able.

It was crowded and laggy for me too, most likely because it's very graphic intensive. I waited quite a while near the entrance point and slowly increased my draw distance until I figured most of the textures had loaded before I entered the ride; it seemed to help quite a bit.

"Flesh Hunt"? Have not heard of that one and it really sounds like major YUCK.




ETA -- Googled the hunt and it sounds cool - especially since it is not a grid-wide one. I'll be checking that out later today or this week.

I love love love Halloween and October in general. This hunt is brilliant, the build is spot on, and even colorfracked, I can actually see the candy wrappers, which is a nice surprise

Actually I envisioned blobs of flesh laying around to be found for prizes.
