When I was in Grad School, I was doing a paper on WWII. My uncle , who was there from North Africa to Auschwitz with the 1st Division took me to the American Legion so I could talk to a lot of the vets there. They had a Halloween dance that year and I managed to cobble together a WAC uniform thanks to a friend in the theatre business.

The whole experience was..I spent a lot of time there, I really adored those guys. They sort of adopted me..after all how many young women could discuss the merits of the M4 Sherman tank while drinking boilermakers? Some of those guys were so brave and so humble in talking about their experiences.

I would have some of my dates meet me there on occasion and let the guys give them the once over. :p

We go to a Rocky Horror show most of the time for Halloween so I am usually a generic transylvanian. Many years ago (when I had the body for it) I was the sexiest Dr. Frankenfurter you have ever seen. *sigh* Now I would make a better Eddy :( Clover has the build for being Columbia except for those D cups. It ought to be a crime, she has perfect and perky boobs while mine drop like hanged men  That could be why I like flogging her breasts.

Well, that post took a wild left turn in a hurry.

I like pie.

I would like to learn more about Clover's breasts.

I have never dressed up for halloween or been involved in a halloween party as an adult. I've dressed up for halloween as a kid, but never attended a party for halloween

The thread was on the third page this morning. Guess people are leaving for "the other side"... :(

Actually, i was taking a look at the new garden. I am trying to build a sky house that this will hang below.
That looks awesome with the chains! I always like to see creative solutions to the "box floating in the sky" yuckness.

Good morning

These are amazing. We have them in the backyard, but you have to get up early to see the flowers, as they close up shortly after daybreak.

I'm still around... I just don't feel like posting much.

I just finished vacuuming the house, helping clean the house. My fav. sister and her husband are coming for the weekend, which will be a lot of fun. Six is very excited about the visit.

Incidentally, when the news about the boy in the balloon came out, she scoffed and said, "It's a publicity stunt!" She's very cynical for such a young kid. I don't think it's *really* cynicism; but I don't know what else to call it.

I did want to say that Brenda's and Lil's recent photos are among the best I've seen from them, and that Rhonda's hanging garden looks fantastic.

I had the left over pizza and Mo's offering definitely looks better.

God, those things annoy me no end. They look so crappy. I've pretty much trashed all of mine.
Ditto - I think I actually hate trying to wear those worse that just system skirts with that damn gap at the waist.

Must be something in the air. I went to bed a bit after midnight last night and slept until 12:30 today. Or maybe just a really rough week.

Good morning

I'm around too, but ditto on the not feeling like posting much.

I used to have one of these... It was visible from the bath, and I enjoyed the flowers while bathing in the morning... Sadly, it got so large, it had to be removed. The gingko is gone now too, and I'm collecting bids on replacing the walkway. :(

I enjoy everyone's pics vanity or otherwise. Thanks for sharing them.
