/me looks @ you over top of glasses. I thought we'd already 'done' the Happy Festival of Maureen, Brenda, Lexxi and Treasure thingy. You're in round 2!

/me steps up and declares it nearly the month of Elora Festivities!

Anyone else a May baby here?

/trudges up the stairs laden like Santa Claus!

Wow, I did pretty well. First, had to p/u the stuff we pre-purchased the other day for Ghosty because we were concerned about one of the items disappearing: his first "Man-Bag" lol. It was the last one on the shelf. It was $165 originally and nearly 1/2 off when all was said and done. You know, one of those techy messanger type bags that a laptop goes into plus all your other commuting gear? Plus, 3 button down shirts and a really lovely silk tie.

Me? 2 bathing suits, 1 casual kind of cruise-wear dress (neko print by Michael Kors!), some t-shirts, 1 fancy sleeveless rose printed tank top printed, and I'm sure I'm forgetting what else because it's pouring and I didn't bring my bag of stuff into the house yet.

Also, stopped into Target and got things to organize the closet. It's making me crazy looking at this enormous walk-in which I know can be put to better use than we have it. Oh and Tassimo pods for those emergency cups of coffee.

And lunch :) I would have stayed out longer, but I'm pooped!

Sweet!!! Sounds like a very successful shopping expedition.

Re: the "man-bag"" If Ghosty's concerned about carrying one, just remember to tell him that it's European. :)

Hey guess what? We had a staff meeting scheduled for 3 pm (12 pm SLT). I walked in, sat down...and discovered that it was a surprise birthday party for me and another colleague (both April birthday babies)!!!

/me smiles happily

And it was killer cake, too!!!
Please describe the cake fully.

For those familiar with the store, it was from Costco. A sheet cake, with really moist yellow cake -- it had two layers with a bittersweet chocolate mousse filling, and it was frosted with buttercream icing.

And lol...the person ordering the cake had her two year old son with her at the time...so they ordered the cake to be decorated with balloons.

It was very cute. And those balloons were very tasty. Or at least the red one was. :D

yummy, bittersweet chocolate mousse filling. I'm drooling here.

But, Aherm. What flavor buttercream? Chocolate? Vanilla? Something more interesting?

Actually I keep a box of those handy for emergencies, like if I run out of coffee and need to get jumps started before going out for it. But not decaf of course. Two of the regular bags make a decent mugful. Better than the freeze dried junk.

i think they taste pretty good if you let it set for a long time in a smaller mug.

we drink decaf because that's what my hubby has to have. i've just evolved to one type in the house, to keep things simple and me being supportive, although i admit it was a rocky transition at the time. :o

Guiding the bailiff in the proper application, possibly loaning her own personal roll from her pocket?
