Obviously he tortures and kills small animals. And then takes pictures of his "trophies".

I thought he was posting them from his pornography collection.

against my better judgement:

http://www.phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/47/messages/498.html

"HIGH ROAD, LOW ROAD - rational approach versus emotional appeal; sticking to the issues versus going for the jugular; Marquis of Queensberry rules versus no-holds-barred. The phrase became popular in the presidential campaign of 1948, when Republican Thomas E. Dewey selected 'the high road' and let voters draw their own conclusions as to what road President Harry Truman was trudging."

Pep (The phrase has no currency in Britain, of which I am aware, other than in a Scottish folksong)

Phrase origins notwithstanding, you have been provided with the correct definition within the context of the prior post. Do with it what you will.

I just love quoting myself! :D

I've managed to find ESL classes in-world.

Does anyone know of any other languages being taught to non-native speakers? I'd love to sit in on something like that.
Lorefield University offers several.

Pep (Wonders how effective the ESL classes have been)

No Pep. It is an emotional approach in this instance. For once, give a little ground, rise above the fray, and stop being such a fucking douchebag. Stop with the Tit for Cat, the martyrdom, and the pedantry. At least in this thread.
Of course I will.

Pep (You all go first, though)

PS Except for Love; she breaks her promises and is unworthy of trust.

Are you telepathic then, to be able to determine Brenda's intent?

Pep (Or are you Brenda's alt as well? )

I would be really interested in knowing exactly WHY Pep frequents these forums.

Honestly.

I shudder to imagine that he's huddled in his rumpus room, gleefully clicking through page after page of mutilated animals to find something to entertain us with.
Nothing of what he posts helps people with the ins and out of Second Life.
He fails to understand the social dynamics of this place.
No one cares to be educated by him in the ways of spelling and grammar, or receive his instructions as to how to think, feel and comport themselves.
His comments are neither funny nor witty, as much as he imagines them to be. In fact, to those of us who've been around a while they're starting to become tediously repetitive.
No one is impressed by his ability to use Google.
He's universally disliked and has managed to alienate even the few people who have extended a hand in friendship.

So, tell us, Pep, rationally, logically and unemotionally: What are you doing here?

Oh, and what about Earth Day slurls? :D

Happy Earth day.

Despite the best efforts of some of us inhabitants, it's still a beautiful planet.

Might I suggest we simply stop engaging him on this topic? It's clearly what he wants, and actually encourages his dead cat posts.

I am here because I am fascinated by the way in which illogical over-emotional "females" think (or not) in the hope that illumination regarding their motivations and behavioural responses might help me to resolve my real life problems.

I agree with Love. Just don't respond, don't ask him anything. NOTHING! All this does is encourages him. He obviously is gleeful over the affect his postings have and will continue demonstrating this behavior. You cannot simply outdo people that just have to have the last word. IMO, he is that type of individual.

Should my interpretation be in error, I have confidence that she will correct me.

In the meantime, I find it is always best hold the belief that the common modern usage is the operative one.

OH! Is anyone planning on seeing the new Disney "Earth" that released today? I'd almost forgotten about it.

What is up with that, is it some kind of trend??? Same thing happened here, the place where I buy milk and cereal stopped carrying milk but still carries cereal......?? Totally don't get the logic!
