Good day to you all.

re the Rendezvous walk HUD thingy - I think I must get round to trying that with my partner. We were exploring in a forest the other day and I kept losing him. :D

Good morning everyone! Up bright and early as usual

Heading out to big sales today. Did you know that Fortunoff's is closing their doors for good? This may mean nothing to many but for those who know about this store, it's a sad story. It's mostly a housewares store, but also known for it's good stock of jewelry/watches.

Anyhoo, I'm heading back to take advantage and see what else I need for the house. Picked up 2 small Oriental area rugs for the bedroom the other day at over 60% off, some beach towels too (upcoming trip, you know?). Also Lord & Taylor having a 25% off everything in the store, plus another 25% "friends and family sale only today - woohoo! Even all the makeup is 10% off and they NEVER put makeup up on sale. Only 10% but it's something.

Fun, fun, fun!

When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping and absolutely it should be at a huge sale. My mom would be so proud :D

oooh...back home yet? Any goodies gotten? :)

Pep, my disdain for lolcats is known, and I am not very fond of them in RL either. But enough is enough. I'm not going to AR you, or write a scolding diatribe about getting you banned from the forum, or start any signature based campaign against you. I'm just going to ask you. Please stop.

What about a lolcats thread?

I've seen other forums do that.

Not that I don't like drama, mind you!

.

oooh...maybe if it was an LOLcat thread related to SL! :p

And speaking of tilting at windmills, is there a place in-world dedicated to this Cervantes gem? :)

J (Keeping this thread SL-relevant since Sept. 08 :p )

I didn't see anything on the web-based search, but did see the Museum of Philosophy:

Something I have started enjoying immensely is rereading French-translation versions of English-language books that I have already read.

The Harry Potter series has been particularly enjoyable.

Grisham, and Dan Brown have also been fun to read translated.

It's the tail gun of a bomber. Hard to tell which one, a B29 or B36 maybe?

Oh yeah, you may be right. That would explain the engine position. That's why I thought it was a B36, which had reverse mounterd "pusher" props in adition to jets on the wingtips. But I don't think they had tail guns. Nice one.
