I like KFC, but yeah, if made to choose, Popeye's all the way. With dirty rice.

Love that dirty rice.

Speaking of thing which have cooked chicken livers in it (not that we were, but that rice does have them)...when I lived in Florida there used to be a chain which for the life of me, I don't remember the name of. Mmmm, maybe it was Wings and Things?

Anyway, one of the things they specialized in was deep fried chicken livers. They had a coating like the fried chicken they served, and they came with a jalepeno jelly if memory serves me right. To die for, if you appreciate that type of soul food. Talk about heart attacks on a plate

Someone invite Claire to spend the summer and cook her some American food :p

(Actually, i took a pork butt out of the freezer and it's ready to go - it was on sale the other day, going to do it in the oven, not the grill. Done it that way once before and it came out just fine that way too).

Probably the one kitchen appliance I still don't own. Keep meaning to buy one, and keep forgetting.

A sheet cake, with really moist yellow cake -- it had two layers with a bittersweet chocolate mousse filling, and it was frosted with buttercream icing.

It was very cute. And those balloons were very tasty. Or at least the red one was. :D

For my nephew's3rd birthday we got his from Costco's It had strawberry cake was very moist, vanilla mousse filling witha whipped frosting. I love strawberries. For me, it was fantastic. If you saw me, you would've thought the cake was for me. :)

Crock Pots are awesome - though I had to check that you meant what I thought you meant lol

Sable: Costco's cakes are fabbity - the carrot cake has the bestest frosting ever. We make up reasons why we need to get them.

Oh, and don't diss the Pop Tarts! They are my staple breakfast when I'm in a rush - sometimes I dont even bother to stick em in a toaster.

If you have any leftovers, saute' some red onion, green/red/yellow peppers a lil spanish rice and you have a wrap. There is a brand called Mission something and they sell different flavored wraps. When I make this dish, I use chipotle flavor.

Oh I forgot, I works with leftover chicken and beef.

That's the funniest thing I've read here in ages! Let alone, I didn't even know Pop Tarts still exist. Who in their right mind would still eat those things? Blech.

Edit: Apologies to Claire :D
