Oh, and don't diss the Pop Tarts! They are my staple breakfast when I'm in a rush - sometimes I dont even bother to stick em in a toaster.
The chocolate ones are awesome right out of the package.

Where you coming to Claire? Coming here for school?

yesh, I got more details on it all today. The teacher who'd been telling me it was Denver was waaay off. South Dakota (SDSU).

Prefer the Strawberry Pop Tarts - like the pic 3 posted :p We dont get many flavours in the shops around here...maybe 3. Strawberry, chocolate, and raspberry I think. Never seen an unfrosted one tho.

ETA: Mine plugs in though, I'd always be out of batteries when i wanted the wine otherwise... :p
Yeah that was my first thought about a battery operated wine opener.

Well, So. Dakota isn't really too far away, in the scheme of things. Tis a popular vacation spot for folks around here.

I don't like those - the marshmellow part tastes too fake and rubbery.

Definitely - I couldn't live without mine and we probably wouldn't get to eat too many decent full meals very often without it -- I hate spending much time cooking.

OK, both you and Brenda got me interested. Brands? Features I should look for? I'm on a shopping kick :)

Same here. Although I am able to defrost now, finally figured out how to do it without ruining the meat. Oh and frozen dinners when I'm not feeling well and really can't deal with cooking and forgot to go to the ATM to get money for a delivery. Good with those too :p

For those familiar with the store, it was from Costco. A sheet cake, with really moist yellow cake -- it had two layers with a bittersweet chocolate mousse filling, and it was frosted with buttercream icing.

And lol...the person ordering the cake had her two year old son with her at the time...so they ordered the cake to be decorated with balloons.

It was very cute. And those balloons were very tasty. Or at least the red one was. :D
Yum. Most store bought cakes taste pretty bad to me. But I like the ones from Costco. Happy Birthday again - no amount of celebrating is two much for your birthday.

Speaking of Microwave Popcorn this story resurfaced the other night.

http://www.sixwise.com/newsletters/05/10/12/butter_flavoring_can_cause_lung_disease_diacetyl_a_chemical_additive_to_watch_out_for.htm

Evidently a lawsuit was settled recently and a popcorn plant worker was awarded $7MIL, a day before he died.

BIG - the bigger, the better. A removable dishwasher safe inner part. Those are the critical things in my mind.

Blame it on the alcohol?
04-22-2009 19:05
Ok, I was in the car driving home and they were playing this song titled "Blame it on the AL..AL...AL...Alcohol" on the radio by T-Pain. Or something like that.

It made me think, what did I do that I blamed it on too much alcohol.

Well, I recall after a night of clubbing I came home took a shower and fell in the bed after taking Excedrin. Next morning I got up and couldnt figure out why my pink latex thigh high boots were soaking wet but my other clothes were on dry.

Only thing I can think of I must have taken my shower with them on . There could not have been any other explanation.

I have a rival oval crockpot. It is more useful from a presentation standpoint.

If I can find one similar (sans the car motif), I'll pick it up :) I have heard from other people Rival makes one of the best ones.

But when it comes to pressure cooking, that I am a pro. I have 3 of them in different sizes. One stove top and 2 electric from QVC.

I am a rehabilitated former QVC-aholic.
