My dad smoked a pipe for years.
One of my favourite smells as a child, was an old fashioned tobacconists shop, where my dad bought his weekly supply.
I'd get to rub down the block into loose flake, and the scent of the stuff is still with me now.
At times he also smoked a vanilla mixture, and a black cherry one :D

He stopped smoking years ago. I think he realised that my mum was smoking more than enough for all of us.

I've never even been tempted to try tobacco.

You know..it's interesting. Tobacconist shops do smell pretty good...I guess it's all those different types of tobacco.

It's the tobacco once it's been lit that smells yucky to me.

Your ears have changed color! I like how they match your gloves. :)

lol, I always do that! The outside is black, but the inside matches - or at least coordinates - with something I'm wearing.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

When does the gorean hunt end? I fizzled half way through. I started unpacking the items, and didn't find much to keep. Is there anything particularly noteworthy in the second half?

Oh, and "fizzled"?

Funny, I understood the word the first time I read that paragraph. I think I'm slowly getting dumber as the day progresses. I'm losing words. Like earlier I couldn't figure out what a fringe was. Now I didn't get fizzled.

I can't remember, but I think I've even used that word before, fizzled. Know I've used fringe before. Surrey, though, I've never used before.

Hehe. That's happened to me before. Especially at brain cell killing work. Or was it the bar?

Now that you mention it... makes me wonder if it color co-ordinates with the boat, the girl or the outfit?

Holy Crap! A US Air Flight just went down in the Hudson River after leaving LaGuardia. It apears to have run into a flock of geese and lost engines. So far it seems everyone survived, and they are trying to get everyone off before the plane sinks totally.

Oh no! I hope everyone is ok.

Today is not a good day, the Gaza conflict has escalated and they've hit a UN compound with hundreds of people and lots of food supplies inside. Some of the pictures on the news had me crying.
