It's all a matter of personal gender identity and preference. Some people can play either gender with equal ease. Others strongly prefer one over the other...and it may or may not be their Real Life gender.

I have a female alt as well I have turned my main into a female
While I didnt have any problem acting the part and was open about who I was ... after a few moments of embarassingly teasing friends .... The folks around me felt more uncomfortable so I stayed man.

I made the female alt for future use in developing womens clothes if I ever get around to working on that little talent .... but never quite got to actually gettign proper skins and clothes for her. I did have help from a female friend in changing the main and she did a great job lol
