Try Poison Orchid. I think that's what it's called.

Nope, nada.

I was afraid that would be the case.
The dangers of such an unruly inventory...never sure what goes missing.

I can't get below 22k. I completely understand. I keep dropping things into storage boxes, but I swear my inventory is alive and multiplying like tribbles.

I once swore I wouldn't let it build past 10K, and now I'm at 16K. No sooner do I delete/box/give away something than some fabulous new thing shows up on an SL fashion blog that I just *have* to have, or I need new textures for a build. I'm still boxing things up and reorganizing, though, as much as I can. Until my eyes glaze over and I have to go do something else. Like shopping. :p

Seriously, I used to be so diligent about cleaning my inventory and I did pretty well...until I started owning sims....landscaping down....oops, new sim, pick it up and put it down again. New house? Fine, but the furniture needs to change.

I'm gonna have one helluva yard sale though! ;)

I can't get mine below 15000 no matter how I try it seems. With land at 8096 square meters and a constantly changing landscape (a passion in RL and SL), and now a new modern house that requires appropriate furnishings that were lanquishing in the inventory and now seeing the light of day, it just seems impossible. That combined with reading the fashion blogs as Roisin mentioned. I've been cutthroat about deleting much of my old clothing/hair lately but still can't manage to make a big enough dent in it to make me truly happy.

Yea, I think I would cry every time I log on although Claire's is no better. Mine was near 17000 at it's worst and it made me sick to my stomach. I knew it was time to get brutal.

Why the desire to reduce inventory? I'm not there yet, so I don't really know what goes wrong. I have noticed that opening a new inventory windows hangs my client for 15 seconds or so... and if SL is having one of it's moods, the search takes a long time, but otherwise I see no ill effects... yet?

Being a non creative/ non home owner has it's advantages. my inventory is around 8,000, and I could probably get it down further if I bothered to clean out all the duplicate landmarks and notecards that come with stuff I buy.

It just becomes so damned hard to find things!

I really think I'm about to delete all of my landmarks. I can either search, or go out to my blog where many of the slurls are. That would probably drop it down by at least 2000 items. I already habitually delete multiple copies of the same LM.

I don't seem to get any lag or anythign from havign a big inventory, On a good day, I can load my inventory in seconds, it's just really very hard to keep track of stuff.

Well, all that, plus the difficulty of finding things, makes me want to keep inventory down to a dull roar. Even if it's well organized it's hard to find stuff and slows things down. And why lug around stuff you're not using?

So true, Brenda! I have hundreds of textures, hundreds of plants and probably about a hundred plus things that I've made that I'm absolutely sure I'll use one day...

I don't use landmarks much either. I usually type the name into search and go that way, it seems easier for me.
