busy girl!

/me plans to come visit your sim to see the pretty snow. :)

It's snowing :)

Be sure to visit the Mall. A couple of model friends who love doing set design, came in and did the mall for me, for FREE. I have got to find a way to repay these two lovely people.

Nuuuuu!!!! Bad, bad, BAD Monday!!!
I was off ill last week, and didn't get told what was happening.

I had a test!! Surprise!! Maths test - on the day i forget my calculator, so I had to deal with messing about with stupid decimals in my head. Thankfully the second teacher gave me a calc with half an hour to go, so I could check my answers. :(
Also, there were two major essays due in, another due in on Wednesday, and an assignment in for next week.

On the plus side, I get tomorrow off, so I guess I get to do some work then.

I soooo hate mondays :(

Wow Lindal...just wow...

You ladies are far far too busy. I spent 4 days playing with prims, and ended up with nothing to show for it. (learned a lot though!)

Ok.....Not to derail the thread. (*snicker*) but...
From: Lindal Kidd
I participated in two days of Dramah, which ended up with the guy not showing up in RL as promised to meet the girl, and admitting he'd made up the whole trip and progress reports.

WTF!?!?!? Seriously....WTMFF?! There's bad...there's wrong...and then there's this.

I like to think that people are inherently good....I really like to think that. The poor girl. :(

Thanksgiving was great. I had a house full of people all week. Friends and family -- not relatives either, the family you choose. We had 16 people for turkey day dinner plus more came in the next day.

I love having a lot of people over.
I'm glad that all went home. lol

I need a vacation from my vacation.

Oh, and I, too, decorated my SL house for the holiday season! It's on a tropical island, so there's no snow (although I hear some residents were requesting an exception to the rule for the season...), but I've got some palm trees out with lights on 'em!! :p

(Jerboa will faint when he hears this, but guess what?? I still have 200+ prims left... :D)

Just give it to the female one then.

Pep (I am sure I can find a number in my address book to give him as well)

/waves to Maureen!

I want snow on my home, which is tropical too! I want snowmen all over the place! I need a snow emittor and snow on the ground! I know I can get a snow emittor easy but how do I go about making snow for the ground or to stick in trees  Do I need to buy winter trees? Tropical winter trees lol?

I'm so use to having as many prims as I need. When I owned land I used about 1300 prims just on my own place. Now that I am renting I can only use 300. It's hard to adjust to not being a prim whore.:o

I don't know about the trees, but there are tons of winter textures and sculptie snow and such out there. Take a look on XStreet

I'm at my first place. 2048sqm rental.

468 prims sounds like a lot...until you start using them!

I tried to decorate this weekend. A tree, advent wreath, couple of presents and a musical snowglobe... 1 prim left! Gah!

I'm on the lookout for a house I like with fewer prims than my current one. (Galland Outer Banks...I love it but 199 prims! ouch can't even decorate properly) And playing in a sandbox trying to build one I like as well.

After this long weekend, I'm finally coming to grips with not fitting my "perfect" home on this lot. So it's a balance between aesthetics, and prim count. *sigh*

ack!! Mondays can be awful, all on their own...but then to get slammed with tests, etc., unawares...ack. Sorry about that.

Water under the bridge at this point, but do your instructors have email contact info so you can write and ask about such things when you are sick? Our professors provide contact info for our students, just in case...(or is that not good form in England..?)
