I'm at my first place. 2048sqm rental. 468 prims sounds like a lot...until you start using them! I tried to decorate this weekend. A tree, advent wreath, couple of presents and a musical snowglobe... 1 prim left! Gah! I'm on the lookout for a house I like with fewer prims than my current one. (Galland Outer Banks...I love it but 199 prims! ouch can't even decorate properly) And playing in a sandbox trying to build one I like as well. After this long weekend, I'm finally coming to grips with not fitting my "perfect" home on this lot. So it's a balance between aesthetics, and prim count. *sigh* I think my house looks pretty good so far. I think I am at about 250 prims. My old house had TONS of useless things and it looked very homey and lived in.(For instance the 60 prim barbecue grill and 200 prim patio set I just had to have for no real reason.Towel racks and potholders in my kitchen, strange things like that...even had a bathroom:/ ) After the holiday decor is gone, I'll have more prims to play with and can set out my useless kitchen apple decor.(potholder, trivet, mixing bowls... ![]() _____________________

That would not have been a dream, that would have been a nightmare. ![]() But hey! How was the trip? And the helicopter ride? Did you come back with at least one shirt left? Yes. A skinny tube top. ![]() This was one of the least successful trips , gambling wise I've taken, but otherwise a good time was had. The dice just weren't with me. I managed to not lose more than my set aside stake, so no worries. |

ack!! Mondays can be awful, all on their own...but then to get slammed with tests, etc., unawares...ack. Sorry about that. Water under the bridge at this point, but do your instructors have email contact info so you can write and ask about such things when you are sick? Our professors provide contact info for our students, just in case...(or is that not good form in England..?) Yep, but they check it perhaps once a blue moon. lol. Mostly if they know you're friends with someone they'll ask them to pass the message on. Ahh well. It taught me not to be sick lol. _____________________

Welcome back Brenda. I had a dream you gambled your plane ticket, and ended up at a low rent casino playing "rock-paper-scissors", and "I'm-thinking-of-a-number-between-1-and-10". Then I woke up, and realized I'd left the tv on, playing Vegas Vacation. ![]() Considering it was a First Class ticket,I could have gone to a better casino. |

Hm, maybe I should start playing (oh yeah, Honey, like you need another addiction) Nooooooo! Stay far far away from teh WoW! Actually I tried it some time ago...I found the killing to be mind-numbingly boring after a while. Don't think I ever took a character past 25. Then came SL..... ahhhh...home. ![]() _____________________

Works wonders for my disposition. Especially on my death knight who can easily take down 4-5 guys at higher levels than me. Fun. ![]() _____________________

I don't even try WoW. I'm incredibly bad at killing games like that.

I don't even try WoW. I'm incredibly bad at killing games like that. I never cared for them either before. But something is different about this one. I really like the story behind it all and there are other aspects of the game too besides just killing things. _____________________

Hey, I know Thanksgiving is past, but I just saw this listed in "Events"
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nantucket/34/121/22 The MAYFLOWER In Nantucket! With Lora Chadbourne Come aboard a truly incredible, full scale reproduction of The Mayflower moored next to The Nantucket Theatre through Saturday, December 6th. Lora Chadbourne, a Mayflower descendant and Thanksgiving expert, has given a chat lecture in the Theatre which will be available at a kiosk near the vessel. Sit at the Thanksgiving table laden with Turkey (just click for a drum stick!). Help yourself to a Pilgrim hat or a pair of Native American Moccasins and enter into the spirit of Thanksgiving. Lora's creation is truly a labor of love and, when you see it, you will understand what I mean. The Mayflower and the equally amazing Plymouth Plantation is currently looking for a new SL home and Lora will take IMs answering any questions about her needs. Please be generous with your donations to Lora's ongoing efforts to fund the Mayflower and the Plymouth Plantation. Thank you in advance for your donations! |

Btw Rioko, nice point in the AIDS thread. Had she not been posting with every breath, the important post may have been better received.

Just another bot thread basically. And so damn many angry people - geesh - My Ignore List might fill up- and I do resist the temptation of looking at View Post- cause why put someone on ignore if u r going to peek? _____________________

I think anyone would be at least a bit scared driving that road in the dark in icy conditions! Yeah that was "Brian's song, about Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo, who died of cancer. I saw that in the 70's ( a blurry time for me) it's amazing I remember it at all. I caught part of that movie on tv, it was based (loosely) on one of my favorite books, "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving Kaimi! One of my absolutely favorite books too! One of the very few books I actually ROFL as I read it. Even more so than Garp... ![]() _____________________
