i do not live in Colorado. i can't believe the pass is still open. usually, the ski resort (below this) is in full swing for Thanksgiving holiday and this part of the mountain is under 14' of snow by now. it's going to be a rough year for the tourist industry if we don't get some snow soon. _____________________

We were actually saying that around here until just this weekend. I just saw on the news that quite of few of our passes have closed due to this storm system and the large tunnel on I-70 (the major way thru the Rockies around here) has been closed, stranding lots of skiers and vacationers on the other side tonight. yikes. hopefully they'll find another way around. i assume you have several highways that link at lower elevations... _____________________

i agree, Amar. however, even at his smallest, i imagine he is somewhat distorted. i wonder if his skin is stretched out much like an overweight person might experience. i like my men with meat too, but not that much! *bleah* A million years ago and a hundred life times away i use to lift- i wanted to be the next rachel mclish- muscular women were sexy then cause they didnt look like guys- i dropped a seriously heavy weight on an appendage which made me stop working out long enough to loose the habit. At the time i was married to a weight lifting guy- by the time i was over my injury he was over his passion for weights.. time passed - we divorced - i am 45 - my body bldg days are waaaay behind me time marches on..._____________________

Not really. Unless you want to travel hundreds of miles out of your way, there are only a few ways thru the divide right here and if the large tunnel is closed, it is a pretty good bet that the few other tinier ways will be closed also. oh, that sucks. we can "go around", cuz our pass here is usually closed by mid October, although from here that is an extra 2-4 hours drive (so 100 miles out of the way, i suppose). sometimes though, the other passes are also closed. however, in those cases, i stay home. if they are closed, it's not safe. they put a lot of effort into making sure the flatlanders can get up to the casinos. LOL _____________________

At the time i was married to a weight lifting guy- by the time i was over my injury he was over his passion for weights.. time passed - we divorced - i am 45 - my body bldg days are waaaay behind me time marches on...oh please, 45 is not too old (not counting lack of motivation). consider it a challenge to see what you can do with your bod. i bet you'd be surprised, although i admit it's probably going to be twice as hard to accomplish than a 20 year old frame. _____________________

the pics don't even tell the story of the night's drive over. i'm sure that because it's so fresh, i'm over dramatizing. but, at those moments, i really was terrified. i'm such a baby. maybe i am thinking of a different movie (Brians Song). i am thinking of the football player who died from a terminal disease. been a few years now, since i've seen it. i don't even remember what disease it was. i watched Simon Birch recently.
