It's ok...Hugh Jackman's there now. All will be right in the world soon. :D

Jer, he's so freaking oblivious, it'll go right over his little pinpointed head.

I tend to wake up about 5:00am. For no reason!!! I used to sleep 10 hours a day now I'm lucky if I get 6. I think it's an old-people thing.

I get about 4-5 hours a night. I do often take about a 1-2 hour nap though while the kids are in school. I remember my grandmother was always up at 4:30 every morning. She didn't even leave for work until almost 7. I think I get it from her. I remember when I was younger and before kids, I could sleep 13 hours straight with no problem.

Exactly.

Of course, we're addicted, so that adds a little something to the equation ;)

I haven't been sleeping well. Sometimes I fall asleep too early- other times sleep won't come or if I wake at some odd hour I cannot sleep again. Today I had nightmares of people breaking into the house and me wandering out side in the wee hours and not being able to walk right to get back in my house. I have been awake since 5:30 -

Wow, this is Monday with a bang... Back from my trip with a cold, things are very tight at work (we will have a two week shutdown in Dec), and worst of all, my beloved land may be about to go poof.

I got an IM from another resident last night telling me our owner seems to have cancelled his account. Estate land, you know what that means. I spent hours working on a new build this weekend, and I have my house and party platform. So instead of taking my cold to bed early last night, I picked up all my stuff. I found out today that tier is usually due on the 2nd, so I probably could have waited til tonight, but i wouldn't have been able to sleep.

It's not the 3 weeks rent I'm out... I've been on the island for 8 months, and loved every minute of it. I was the first renter there. I really, really will miss my beautiful land. :(

/me hugs Allie

Sorry about your cold...AND about your land!!! :( That lovely, lovely party platform...you had done such a fabulous job on the landscaping!!!

Yes, my sister just heard that her company has a two-week shutdown last last two weeks of December, too. Fortunately, it is NOT a furlough; they do have to use their own vacation leave.

Agreed!

My weekend was full of train trips, turkey, talking and general tomfoolery. But I did get a custom job done and more work on the Shine thing done.

Does it snow in Jerusalem? I sort of want to put wintery stuff down at the shop.

G'mor.....noon, thread! Bout time I got t'writin', huh?

A lot of my weekend was spent either with RL holiday stuff, or dealin with th' stuff with skins that came up this weekend. but I did get a chance to get out an about a bit, too!

A lot of my weekend, though, was soent with art. First, I now have some of my piccies in a show in Grignano:

And the show in Bay City has opened too:

That's the one with that piccie I asked a lot of you to pose in, for which I thank you so so so so much. :-)

I also did fireworks for the opening of the' Avatrait Gallery, which I did't have any piccies in, but there are some amazing images in. If you wanna see some really amazing work, check it out!

Oh, an I finished off the weekend in Rockefeller Center. Well, the Funky Town version, which included lve music an a tree lighting. Here's one more piccie, jes cuz:

An that's th' latest!

...and thanks to everyone for their good thoughts on the RL workstuff an the skin stuff an alla that. Lots going on, it seems.
