Mmmmm! Would you care to join Honey, Lil and me (and anyone else with similar tastes) in demolishing a slab of crumbly welsh heaven, complemented by several glasses of a youthful and spicy red Rioja from the backbone of the Iberian pensinsula?

Pep (At the risk of being accused of being fat alcoholics of course)

/me sits down with Lil, Honey, Pep, and Kaimi, for an afternoon wine and cheese tasting.

Hi Mo! Do you think we might invite some of the guys from the undying thread over for a party before this one gets closed down?

Pep (Katt's in RA, so maybe she'll notice it)

Wow that's cool. It must be awesome to either be fat or to have a high enough tolerance that it takes that much to be drunk. You must be awesome at the parties you don't go to.
The high tolerance level comes from years of practice at wild partying - you are way to young to have a clue. I can get drunk within a few hours if I want to, or I can easily drink quite a bit all evening without getting drunk. It is a matter of learning what to drink and how fast to drink it.

Don't worry, if you are lucky, it will come as you grow up -- maybe even combined with some maturity, though most guys will even admit that is pushing it for many many years still.

Nope, no need. I'm just waiting around to see if Lil rips him a new one.
Lil is way too classy to waste her time ripping him - though I did cave to temptation and still tried to educate him a bit more.

My advice: put down the Second Life, pick up some healthy food, and learn2cardio. Maybe you wont be so angry all the time once you fix the real issues in your life, scrub.
Dear boy - even at 45, I'll bet I am still in good enough shape to run circles around you. I am only slightly overweight, but that does not seem to stop my ability to do plenty of cardio or ski the pants off many of the hotshot young pups on the ski hill.

Being able to drink a few bottles of wine in a single evening is no big deal if you know how to drink and your wine is not the cheap crap. As a matter of fact, being able to drink lots and not get yourself drunk is one of the signs that you finally have matured a bit.

And even with all the banter, I did not initially have any real issues with Stallion. I guess it really does take a certain level of maturity to learn how to banter in forums without turning to out and out personal insults.

LOL...a complete and utter waste of time. If he's talking to people this way at 24, he'll be doing it at 34, 44, 54...and he'll die a lonely old man.

A little if you are quick.

Pep (And congratulations on your individuality; I don't usually drink white Rioja when it is this cold, but it sounds good)

Huh...this thread isn't locked yet. Go figger...

Um...no cheese, but I did bring a Rolly Gassman Reserve Pinot Gris 2000. Any takers?

(ahem...Stallion...that's a bottle of wine...)

EDT: Not a fan of the Spanish wines..so no rioja for me.
