Zoom rocked!

Didn't it always have the SASE song? (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) My memory is a bit hazy on which show that was.

That time was a little hazy for me, too. I just remember the striped shirts. For the longest time, I thought I had made that show up in my mind since none of my friends remembered it. I kept saying, "You know... Zoom-a-Zoom-a-Zoom!"
Nothing..

I also remember learning some of my English from these interludes (?), commercials (?)
(also a bit about American politics)

LOVED Schoolhouse Rock. Conjunction Junction really sticks in your head.

This was one of my favorite things on TV as a kid:

I've heard. Do you have one? If so, what's your impression? I know they have some maintenance issues like leaking oil, but I've been tinkering with engines since I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure I can fix anything that goes wrong with a motorcycle - at least a basic bike like this. Fixing the GPS system in a Honda Goldwing is going to be out of my range.

I'd be interested to hear what your experience was with Royal Enfield. I'm seriously considering getting one. There's a dealer in my home town.

EDIT: Thanks Xerxes. That might rule it out, then. I'm 6' tall, and while I'm not huge, I'm certainly not skinny either. The bike may just be too small for me.

All British motorcycles leak oil. Check the showrooms and look for the oil drip trays under the bikes. You won't see them in a Japanese motorcycle dealership.

Yep - the seat is low. A small lady can get her feet on the ground when astride - which is plus point from my perspective. However - the Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki bikes I have known have been more reliable and less expensive to run.

I remember those, too! Yep, television was a babysitter at our house. My nieces and nephew are only allowed to watch movies, maybe once a week.

correct, it's a safety feature.
when the oil drip stops, you're getting low on oil

Isabeau you are not crazy! Zoom and Schoolhouse Rock were a huge part of my kidhood, and im not ashamed to say i still peek in at the new generation of Zoom every now and then.

@ MacPhi:
I'm just a bill.
Yes, I'm only a bill.
And I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill.
Well, it's a long, long journey
To the capital city.
It's a long, long wait
While I'm sitting in committee,
But I know I'll be a law someday
At least I hope and pray that I will,
But today I am still just a bill.

@ Mari: at the quarter trick! i learned that from zoom as well oddly enough :D
