I so totally did not expect this thread to take the turn it did, and if I had known, or even had a slight thought it might, I would never had started it

It was started to share in the loss of a very nice woman, and the possible loss of a pop rock icon, which it seems has gotten lost in all the bickering back and forth. (at the time it was started, michael was still in the hospital as far as I knew)

I loved watching Farrah on the angels, she was my idol when I was younger, and I will miss seeing her smiling face, always so happy, and always so bright

I remember seeing Michael when he was just a little kid, coming out of his shell, and becoming very very famous and dealing with all the public crap that goes with it, I never envied him

Now he is gone too, and will be missed by many, and most likely just as many will be glad to see him gone, and that is their choice

I just wish people would stop and look at the crap they are posting to each other...

just stop posting if all you want to do is poke the stick at someone else

I hope to god, that the family of Farrah and Michael never see this thread, or the petty comments that have gone back and forth...(and being we never know who uses SL, and who actually comes to these forums... there is a chance they may have seen, or may see the comments made here, and how a thread meant for memories and sharing, became a thread of mudslinging)

No matter how bad someone is, or how good, someone somewhere loves them and will be greatly hurt by their passing, my heart goes out to the friends and families of both of these individuals

I think her death effects me more than MJ in that I always admired her and wore that same hairstyle, have on in SL to.. But I imagine no one is reading this anymore except the ones arguing..

I will miss Michael too, mainly the younger Michael, he was amazing in his own way, just as Elvis was in his own way and is still missed by millions, Michael will live on with his music and will be missed by millions.

So many have died recently, a lot of heart attacks..... cancer.. No one is immune.. I know I didnt even know there was anal cancer until I heard she had it.... I expected breast cancer when I first heard she had cancer.. Of course then I had to research it... It is a tabu subject for sure that specific cancer i guess... Common questions like how do you get that kind of cancer, then you think well there is no rhyme or reason in cancer is there really...... We are on this earth for such a short time, when we walk if we leave footprints that last beyond our journey, we can only hope we left favorable prints....

and yes... when we walk we do leave footprints, in many forms... both in the physical word, the virtual world, I can only hope that my mistakes and bad choices can be forgotten and when my time comes to pass, that the good stuff is remembered...
