Why are we choosing to get offended because somebody likes/dislikes Michael Jackson? He's dead. It's not like somebody saying they still think he was a pedo can hurt his feelings or anything. Why are we volunteering to have hurt feelings on his behalf?

Well, I tried the reasonable approach. I'm left to assume your logic is not applicable to the circumstances I described, yet mysteriously it is set in stone here on these forums. I think it has gone way beyond that... now they are just slinging mud at each other because they like to see themselves type... (hell if I know why they do it, but it is obvious they do... I was told I am the queen of stating the obvious)

Actually I don't think Dakota is talking about me, I am neither upset at MJ's death nor happy that he is dead thinking he is a pedo - certainly I am not outraged nor offended at anything here so far.

You are the type of person that thinks free speech extends even to people like the Phelps family, in that situation I described, and are unwilling to invest much emotion into your real thoughts about the matter - content to just keep your smug distance and peck at other peoples thoughts and reactions.
