You are correct, Alicia, I do find that offensive. More offensive than nazi uniforms in SL as a matter of fact. Why? Because it is directed at people. I presume myself and others.

Nazi uniforms in RL are not directed at anyone. It is historical accuracy that it DID indeed happen. Taking away the imagery wont change that. Therefore, nazi uniforms in RP are not offensive. Nazi uniforms used in the way you have done with your fingers are offensive.

Your response here does show an excellent example of why LL has chosen the nazi symbol as one of the few images they have decided to ban. Who could blame them for not wanting to get into this kind of mess?

I find any glorification of Nazism offensive given what they represent. I also find any knee jerk censorship offensive for the reason that repressing, destroying knowledge particularly knowledge of history has never been a solution to a better world.

Censorship is a very blunt tool and must be used with the utmost care. That said of course LL can do what they like as long as it is legal.
