Finely shredded red cabbage, red onion and finely grated carrots and beetroot (BEETROOT ... I am adamant on this point!!) in vinagrette makes an excellent side salad. Dunno if it goes with Trout tho.

Now you've gone and done it. I love beets. The red ones. The gold or striped ones are just OK. I put up a beautiful tarragonny batch of pickled beets recently. The leftover oven-roasted gems went into a big batch of borscht for the freezer to come out this winter when I need an infusion. I love beets.

listen, they are doing this becuase residents decided to put porn on the main grid!, now i do not like porn, personaly, i think it should be banned, becasue it dis-respects females, so, here is my look on the things, if they do merge the teen grid with the main grid (or adult grid as some like to call it) thats their choice, no one is FORCING you to do anything on this site, well, atleast most si mand parcel owners dont force the rules on you like a dictator!

No, they're "doing this" (which I assume to mean "discriminating against minors" because children cannot make rational decisions about what is good or not good for them. Porn is legal in most countries and can be lots of fun. If I choose to have porn in my parcel, that's my choice. Anyone under 18 is by law in the US not allowed to see it because those wiser or more political than myself have decided it so.

As totally ungrounded as I think (and have said) this thread's topic to be... and as troubling as I find the possible future merging of the grids... I just got to wondering: does the Teen Grid have an Ivory Tower of Primitives? or Robin (S) Wood's in-world Texture tutorial? or a Particle Laboratory? I mean, I have no idea what's over there, but if it's just a kind of 3D MySpace wasteland--sorta Help Island Public for the acne set--then it probably is in LL's best interest to find some better approach. It's a non-trivial market for this medium that I suspect is not being well-addressed at present.

We have. I was at a couple of the dance parties/topless shenanigans at your place. I can forgive a little beetroot eating, I guess. You know those frozen blocks of bright green peas and pearl onions that people boil into lime colored mush? You don't eat that, do you? Ah, hell with it. Pucker up, I'm on my way.

Umm...yeah. I don't boil 'em into mush, though. The peas and the little pearl onions are firm, crisp, flavorful.

Anyway, my daughter is 18... and (on her own request) she is "shielded" from certain content on the net.

As someone said... yes, some below under 18 may be better able to handle adult content as many above that age. But who can tell.... (I think maybe some partents might be able to do so... but sadly a lot of them not).

So this "protection" is needed and in place...
