Sorry, couldn't help myself. It is perfectly reasonable to keep kids out of SL, just like it is reasonable to keep them out of an adult movie (which is basically what SL seems to be these days ), a bar or a crack den (because it's perfectly okay for adults to go there, obviously).

Mircea, you're suffering from a problem that every young person has...you feel that you're grown up, and should be treated as an adult...but the adults don't share your opinion. Believe me, we DO understand, we've been there ourselves. We just disagree with you.

I know this won't sound very helpful...it didn't when my parents said it to me...but I'll say it anyway: Wait a few years. You'll be surprised how different things will look to you. Well, actually, you won't be surprised. What will happen is that you'll think back and say "I can't believe I ever felt that way." And you'll swear to keep your son or daughter safe, even from themselves, until they're old enough to handle the world on their own.
