Jig that isn't how it was originally presented. But since you regularly contradict yourself within a single post, I'm not surprised.
Since we can't know if any of this is even true I am not surprised at all there has been no change whatsoever in your posting frequency.
Post as much as you like, we all do - and some of us make no bones about being here too often - Just don't do a, well, a jig about it the whole time.

Just so everyone is clear (even the cyncial dont carers). If I post a Thread - title and all, I pay Hal $1000 lindens. If I answer in a thread I pay Hal 100 lindens per answer. So far I have spent - ummm - 500 lindens today. I will pay him coz I am honest and this is good for me to get off forums and leave YOU all alone and in peace. It's "therapy". In a sense. But wouldn't want to upset anyone who is in therapy and suddenly sees what I say here as highy offensive. Okay - so THIS little piece cost me 100 lindens.

You also said you'd post once a week, and that he allowed you 'one free day' a week. You seemed to be counting down to when that began. Then, you began posting MORE.
If reverse psychology works on you and your partner is trying to break your forum addiction or whatever it is, maybe he should tell you to post MORE?

From: Woozie Gumshoe I too find dancing in SL extremely boring.I use to like it when I joined back in 2005.As I don't know the majority7 in the club,I sit and watch my av move and it is just darn boring.
I rather create and xploder hop or surf around. So no jig,you are not alone in this emotion. But I must admit that I do have two dances I turn on when I am xplodering hunting. I do enjoy getting the new ones that come out. Clubbing doesn't hold my interest. I rather hate xploders. Good thing I can mute them. Bad thing if they are owned by someone I do not want muted.

Dancing in SL? I don't do it because I have no one to dance with. I do enjoy dancing in SL, because in RL I'm not all that graceful. SL was made to be a fantasy, a way for people to get away from it all.
So put your dancing shoes on, what the heck!

Why dance? Why do anything in SL? Because those that do it want to. People mostly go to clubs RL to listen to music and/or to dance, maybe socialize a little for as long as their voice holds. Most people bring their habits to SL when they enter a similar situation or venue. Se I guess the other part of the answer is because that is what they are used to or seems natural to them (Even if they wouldn't normally in RL.).
Now as a tangent, clubs, even big ones, or perhaps especially the big clubs, I am not surprised people are not enjoying them as much as they used to. I don't think there are many big clubs left worth visiting anymore, then trying to sort the "Wannabe" clubs from smaller clubs focusing more on social atmosphere is near impossible because the former are many hundreds of times more prevalent than the latter. Big clubs have all but died out because they either started relying to much on gimmicks to get traffic, there owners began sitting back on their lorals, or they pushed out their payed DJs for cheaper and less skilled DJs that will happily work for tips alone. This has spawned a plethora of clubs either run by those who are new who think a club would make them a quick buck, or those rare jems where disenfranchised DJs have gathered together and started their own for no reason other than enjoying what they do.

The only thing sad in this thread is the OP's insensitivity, lack of imagination and inability to appreciate human interaction in forms other than the ones she enjoys.

Is there much difference in the lag used hell I am sure many bonk in public places as well as dancing oh and cant one use dancing as a way to pick someone up for mindless pixel sex ?

Speaking as a DJ and club manager for going on 2 years in SL, I would say dancing serves much the same purpose in SL that it does in RL. It gives folks a reason to assemble at a club, hear some good music and semi-creatively interact with said music, and it can serve as a very good conduit for meeting somebody you might have something in common with. If anything, dancing in SL is more conducive to romantic possibilities due to the fact that you can IM with somebody you're dancing with, rather than having to shout over the din at a club. Dancing can be creative if you have a Huddles and a lot of dances, and you change dances to match the music. And couples dances, like from Intan balls, can be a very romantic way to meet somebody new or just bond with yer special someone. Slow dancing can be both romantic and erotic in the right circumstance, and if done by the right people. I feel sorry for the op if she doesn't get that.

This thread is like a very BAD acid flashback.
Poor Jig was already soundly castigated over this when it was originally posted. She's sorry, and won't do it again. We all agree, dancing in SL is great.
Can we drop it now? Please?
