I myself spent about three months looking for the right person, because I do view it as a very serious relationship that has to fit right. In one particular case, the friend has become close, and I simply didn't want to change a good thing, and risk losing what we have.

I eventually found my Mistress in CARP of all places. Circumstances almost meant that I missed her entirely. We talked, and it instantly seemed right. She collared the next time we met.
