Oh Lord. What have I done? People posting Bombay tv about the dom/sub scene and trying to come up with bizarre punchlines to a joke about gay men and Tupperware (I sort of liked the "stack nicely" and "go in the freezer" ones. I know it's Friday but I'll answer seriously.
I have found my pets several ways: - I occasionally place classifieds, and have gotten some good response that way. - I often meet people either on my own islands, or at other "bdsm areas" around the grid. - I've met a number of subs who noticed either my blog or my participation on the various forums. - I get a lot of IMs from people who find my profile via group membership, but generally those don't pan out. I'm sure it's happened, but I cannot think of any cases where I was the one who contacted the person first. It seems like in every case it was something the sub initiated, even if it was a response to a classified I'd placed. In August I wrote a guide on "How to find a Mistress in Second Life." Whenever a sub contacts me and I'm not in a position to take on more pets, I hand them this link.
