Okiphia Rayna's TIme thread reminded me that there was a similar question I wanted to pose... A Friday class of question.

How did you go about finding your Master/Mistress in SL? How long did you spend before giving yourself to them? Do you view the M/s relationship in SL as a huge commitment to be undertaken with only the right person, or is it a bit of fun to fill the time between parties and shopping? Do you find yourself feeling deep D/s type emotions?

BTW, my formal resident answers question is, "How did you go about finding your Master/Mistress in SL?" for you AR police...

Hate - not trying to derail your thread. Sorry. I'm not a sub, but if I were, I would figure it would be like any other sort of relationship. Maybe get to know the person, spend some time with them and then if you develop some trust and connect well, let things continue on.

It was rather easy for me considering my Mistress and i had been together for quite some time before we joined SL. One of the others i am allowed to serve started out as a friend of a friend and we became friends, and grew closer and it just kind of happened one day. I don't think either of us were counting on it moving that way, it just did and we've never regretted it.

I apologize for derailing this thread on post #2. But I agree the anwer is to take your time. Go to an area with that theme and start checking profiles. Most doms and subs who are looking use that front page to get the word out.

well, Kitten and i have been together longer than we've been in SL, and actually we swap roles ever so often... though naturally or inherently i am more the sub and she the Domme...but like a lot into the scene we do switch...and truly all people have a bit of both in their makeup...

my RL Mistress (who ive been with over 10 years now) sometimes...rarely, but sometimes likes to let go and just go with itand i love being able to help her do so...

the biggest thing for me, (being someone who is a RL practitioner) is trust and love and honesty...as long as those have been established, submit...whether it takes a month or two years...
