OK guys... been over and it's quiet.. too quiet. Ashe is here but SB.... and little ol' me.

So who wants a ride on my avatar cannon?

Instructions in the notecard embedded, and also copied here....

This cannon allows anyone to get into the cannon, ignite its fuse and be fired out as a human cannon ball.
The power can be changed by the owner by altering the number in the cannons description field. The default is set to 200 (did that lol!). Going above this probably wont make much difference, but lowering it will lower its power and distance it fires. The default will fire you accross a sim.

If you are on main land, and you would like to travel very long distances. You can use the Cannon Ride Ball included. Attach it, and then when the cannon fires you, you will fly for a very long distance (NB this means A VERY LONG distance!). This Cannon Ball is copy and transferable should your friends and guests with to use them as well.

I've set 4 balls out.. have fun!

Inc

I tried the cannon. It shot me less than two meters.

I bought a gun last night. It looks like a chicken and shoots eggs.

I have one that shoots flaming rats (rats that are on fire, not "flaming" rats).

I think only myself and one other member were bothered by the old screens. If they don't bother anyone else then do what consensus dictates.

I disliked them.

Only in SL would you have to clarify such a statement.

Which would most likely result in an International Incident involving The Gun Lobby, PETA, and the GLBTF......

Yes :) By the way, are there "flaming rats" and if so, can I see one? That would be neat. The kind not on fire I mean. :)

Not to my knowledge, but at Second Citizen I was occasionally an effeminate hamster.

But my gun does shot rats that are on fire. I don't think they are gay rats though. So, The Gun Lobby and PETA should be visiting the Forum Hangout shortly (I showed off the weapon there). The GLBTF might or might not be visiting. And since when has Furry joined that group?

edit: Great another edit :) - the gun ejects a "bullet" in the form of a rat that is on fire. It does not shot rats running around that happen to be on fire. That would be an annoying weapon. Only able to shot at enflamed rats.

Well if you can positively define Flaming as On Fire, then you are probably good in that area, but it may cause OSHA and UL to take notice, perhaps even the Mythbusters.

But wouldn't OSHA only care if I was paying them, and or if it was a work-place? I am not sure what UL and Mythbusters are.

UL=Underwriter's Laboratories, which is an independant product testing agency. A lot of appliances here will have a UL seal on them. Mythbusters is a TV show on Discovery Channel, where 2 maniacs love to prove/disprove urban myths, usually by blowing stuff up.

Heh. Reminds me of some things Dave Barry would do. I recall something about a rollar barbie, and another something about an exploding toliet, but I can't recall what that two somethings were.

I grew up in Miami and was a huge fan of Dave Barry, until he married the girl I had a crush on since junior high. Hmmm, maybe that's why I've been so cranky lately...

His current wife, or one of his previous wives? I know he has been married at least twice, not sure if there was/is a third.

I had to bury some RL rats today. They infested our garden and I had to kill them. It was sad really, they were actually nice and friendly when I met them.

That is sad. Why did you have to kill them if they were nice and friendly?

That reminds me, though: we have a small family of mice running around at work. They are getting rather bold also. Well, at least in running around at warp speed in daylight. Haven't seen one, yet, that sat at a desk and typed away at the keyboard, or sat on the desk with a paw out for some cheese.

Well, they unfortunately spread diseases and bring in their relatives...and the nighbours' kids would probably complain to the town council too. And sitting in the garden with a rat coming up and waving hello....nah. The mice aren't a problem, we got those too.

Oh? How interesting. Do you give your boss some cheese when the paw is outstretched?

Are mice really that much better, or is it just that they tend to be less bold and a lot smaller? I know I'd be a lot more concerned if we had small pony sized rats running around, instead of tiny mice.

/me scratches shaggy head.

How is it that the rodent infestations are affecting the nekos, specifically?

Either a call for sharpened hunting skills, or the varmints are finally getting revenge.

Well . . . I'm not actually a neko in RL. Who knew the tiny mice with their tiny computers are able to track down all the nekos in SL and hunt them down in RL. Who knew . . .

Generally I give my boss whatever he wants when his paw is outstretched. Usually it's a database map, which isn't as exciting as cheese but his nose twitches all the same.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
