My comments are no more out of line than the comments made by others. Stop and look at your own posts, before you start throwing stones at another. (and yep I know I have said things in the past I should not have, not claiming I am perfect, far from it, but at least I am able to admit I make mistakes, and that I am not perfect, and that heck, if people do not want to heed my advice, no big deal, I do not flounce off in a huff)

Heck, why does anyone decide to dredge up the past? Never made sense to me (and yes I too am guilty of that, done it in the past and probably will do it in the future, doesn't mean I understand why we tend to do it) and it happens in all aspects of life, be it second life or the real deal.

just a couple of points....yes you can be anything you want to be in sl. however, you will also be responded to in kind. whether that is being short, or including certain words and phrases in your profile...people take you as a package in SL.

i DO look at profiles and many many times i will stay away from people who present as belligerent or just plain nasty. ive even been known to avoid people who have some reallllly questionable groups in their profiles. height is only one point of reference...and i have known many avs of many sizes. i agree that height is NOT normally the thing that keeps people away. to me folks who looked at the ops profile were trying to determine why ELSE this person might be getting the cold shoulder if they believe that height is not it as well.

and yes....drama is as drama does...

12 inches in a foot. So you would be 6 feet tall. I know, I've seen that 5'12, 4'12, 6'12 response from measuring sticks in SL and giggle.

heh, I received e-mail last night that I was kicked out of the group that had my art up in a show. One of my few art shows. Sure, after the show remove me, but it has been 2 years, so it felt like a slap in the face, or something.

Guess what the polite thing to do and this goes out to all those negative ninnies, who look for fights (you know who you are) The post was about my height that is it..what i wrote in my profile is what it is. I did not ask you to read it nor did i ask you to comment on it, so any of them making ASSUMPTIONS about whether that is the reason for my lack of this or my lack of that is IRRELEVANT.

I did not say to everyone look at my profile and see if maybe i am being harsh and that is stopping me from getting people to talk to me or help me with jobs or this and that. Sad truth to all you profile snobs...its not. I get responses and friendships even with my profile the way it is, people laugh at it, they don't care what i write in there..the ones who get offended have their own issues in life to deal with. My profile did not state your names. If i had put every single name from this forum in my profile then yes bring on the profile bashing, but since there is none to be found, all i say is if you have a problem with something that does not even apply to you then it seems you have some real issue to deal with in life and it is not my profile that is bothering you.

What do they call those people who look for every excuse they can find as to why they feel like shite, and try to avoid the real reason completely....oh yes, all of you. Get some help seriously, your not doing anyone any good by being in here bashing others on who they are. That is called making judgments, class

So to all of you who answered the thread in a nice and calm manner and stayed on the topic at hand thank you, my profile again has nothing to do with any of this, so posts stating my profile is too harsh are forgotten, I will not change my profile, it gets the point across that i am trying to convey.

So in closing i say this.....Thank you (excluding the select few), you proved my profile works, I know who i would want to be friends with, and who i definitely DO NOT.
