First off, I wasn't trying to be insulting. Trust me, had I wanted to be insulting there would of been a lot of material to work with. Perhaps you were insulting without trying to be? _____________________

What's the plural of clique? LOL, the whole thing is so ridiculous. I was being facetious, Love ![]() I have several acquaintances that I do enjoy spending time with. I have a handful of true friends. My group list is primarily limited to the clothing lines I sell. I tend not to hang out in groups, or cliques, although I do visit from time to time ![]() _____________________

I had this big tactful reply all set to post last night when the browser locked up and lost it...heh. In short Yummy, I agree with another poster that it's not necessarily the content, but the focus of your profile that might be putting people off a bit. When you look at it (not knowing you at all) you see an aweful lot of beautiful RL pics, and not one SL pic. Some good RL info, but not a shred of who you are as a SL person outside of your store. If someone thinks your attractive and wants to talk to you, there's no hints in your profile about your SL likes/dislikes/interests that might make it easier for them to break the ice, or find a common interest. IMO RL stuff is good, but too much is bad, and it's most likely the SL YOU that a sincere guy wants to know before the RL stuff.
Also, Its been said (by MANY guys - apparently there's a set of profile criteria floating around the grid) that if a woman says anything about "no drama" in her profile, she's either a drama queen or attracts drama. I think that's a total crock of sh.. umm.. yeah.. However if lots of guys DO think that's a red flag, maybe it might be helpful to put that part in the "ok to tell them, but don't put it in your profile" catagory. There are a lot of nice, respectful, once-bitten-by-drama-twice-shy guys floating around that might not say hi if they give any merit to that unwritten rule. If there's one thing I've learned about RL married guys in SL is that they tend to make the best friends, and they usually know several nice, totally single guys you'd never get to meet if you close that door too soon ![]() btw - great store, bought some stuff.. triple bonus points for mod perms on clothing (im a croppatintaholic), and also for the redelivery station ![]() |

Yes, good point. Also to be considered is the dearth of eligible, baggage-free (i.e. unmarried), entertaining men that someone would actually WANT to dance with.
Considering the high ratio of women to men in SL, the odds just aren't that great. Just sayin _____________________

I tend not to look at peoples RL details unless I have some reason to be that interested ![]() _____________________

Or maybe Im just old fashioned and believe the guy should approach me first? Does anyone else feel this way? You cant make the cake unless you open the box. Sometimes, guys are shy, dont just ask.. hop on the pink dance ball and then ask if "he" or someone would like to dance. _____________________

I find all sorts of things attractive. Bimbos can be fun. I like intelligence, but frankly, a good attitude matters more. Sluts can be fun -- but if that's all they're about, it gets old pretty quickly. Sophisticated elegance, yumm. Natural grace, ooooh. Girl-next-door charm, count me in. Not classically beautiful but with that something-special difference? Love it. Full-regalia ball-gown at formal dance club, looking like they're looking for that one special person who can be their everything? ahh, I tend to shy away, but can admire from a distance when done well. Color me fickle if you want, but if you ask the women I know, I bet they'll tell you otherwise. I'm just not looking to be anyone's everything! Those who bear it, flaunt it? I look, I enjoy. My genes, hormones, whatever .. can't help it. If they're fun to talk to, it doesn't stop at looking. Those who wear something more teasing than flaunting? Much more intriguing. Need I say more? Bling? Not so much. Usually best when subtle. However, there are times when it's simply demanded. Hopefully not often. Breasts? Most SL women set them too big. I suspect in many cases it's overcompensation (um ... probably like men's attachments ...) Again though, it depends on the whole look. But ladies, please remember that many of us *love* small breasted women! In any case, quality counts more than quality. It's what you does with it, not how much you gots! ![]() About my date's body being exposed -- no problem. Depends. Wouldn't want to be with a hooker in a jazz club, or with a hoop dress at the beach. Just hanging at a typical club? Well, dress code is generally pretty open, I like the scenery, and it's just fine if my date is adding to it. I confess I particularly enjoy the nipples peeking out look (in a suitable place). I blame it on my hormones. That answer your question? JMHO, of course. I swear! This should be a handbook "what every guy wants in a woman"..its awsome..lol _____________________

"Is there something wrong with me?" Gotta' tell you, you have cojones for coming here with your opening thread. But at the same time you're making yourself sound terribly desperate for a man. Can't be that bad..or can it? Ricardo, I figured you'd have learned by now that Im more "tongue in cheek" than anything..winks..and pinches ricardo's cheeks! Nah, not desperate, I'm sure they'll annoy me in a week, anyway..lol j/k _____________________

I always just dance with the voices in my head... well, sometimes I borrow the voices in Immy's head when I want extra company on the dance floor. But I have noticed that over all, there tends to be two types of males in SL. The sort of shy, respectful type - they always seem to already be taken. And then there is the rude testosterone filled - and they always seem to appear in places where I'm not allowed to shoot them. ![]() This post literally made me LOL _____________________
