Some of you know me here and in SL. I'm single in RL and in SL, which for the most part, I enjoy. I like to have time to work and don't really like to have someone watching over my shoulder, and Im a bit of an introvert, so it's really a life style choice. My problem is, there are times I like to go out and dance, and well, just be with the opposite sex. Most of my ingame friends are women, I also have a few men "friends", but sometimes, I'd like more than just a friend. Anyway, it seems whenever I go dancing, I always end up dancing by myself, which , really doesnt bother me, I mean, Billy Idol does it! I just want to know if there is something wrong with me, do I stink? Am I ugly, hideous? Or am I just NON approachable. Or maybe Im just old fashioned and believe the guy should approach me first? Does anyone else feel this way?

If it makes you feel better, I seldom ever dance with anyone.
At the sim I frequent alot, it's unusual to see me dancing by myself or with anyone. Never was a dancer in RL, and it seems to carry over to SL as well. _____________________
really pissy & mean right now and NOT happy with Life.

Im not a very GOOD dancer in rl..but it is a lot of fun in SL..i mean, you can't go wrong!

I think you need to hang around my ass, I can't remember the last time I have seen you in game. Not sure about you but I can't smell in SL (nor RL) but pretty sure its not that you stink. I don't know, because I put myself "out there", I mingle socially....and yet I still end up dancing alone. *sigh* _____________________

if i am in a place in SL where i don't know anyone, and they ask me to dance, i immediately expect them to make a pass, so i am standoffish.
i usually dance alone (in SL), or sit and chat. i have only danced with ... well... less than a handful of menfolks in SL. i don't really see the point. in RL i love to dance, and do it even if i'm a dork out there. i don't care. it's fun! of course, a few shots of tequilla makes me lesss modest and more happy, so that might explain that little phenomena. and i dance with women in RL all the time. fun fun fun! this isn't helping you, is it? LOL edit: come to the hangout. the men there will dance with you, certainly! _____________________

I don't recall seeing people say "Would you care to dance?" in SL. Not just not to me, not at all.
I wouldn't wait for the guy take the initiative. Life is too short to spend waiting on that, or on posting in the "can you help me understand" thread. _____________________
