How tall is your avatar?

5'7" in RL and 6'3" in SL

And according to the 'proportion' info, my arms are a bit short and a few other proportions a bit off -- I might work on that.

All I see is ... no kitty.

The avatar shape I've worn for the last year and a half reads as 5'10" barefoot, according to the height meter.



I just made a new shape to play with a completely different look. This shape reads as 5'7" when barefoot.





My original shape used to be even taller, but I shrunk it a bit after being here a few months. When/if I convert back from my new look, I am planning on redoing the shape a bit and making her shorter, but we'll see.

Also, I know the scripted height meters aren't accurate, so those heights are only a ballpark. I was too lazy to measure against a prim.

This is my normal shape..i checked how tall and it says 7'2"
the funny thing i remember being too short for a fashion show one time by only an inch..hahahaha



this one i just made which looks everyone in the belly it says it is 6'10"

this is kind of funny..after i had gotten finished making this shape..i tp'd to a couple of friends to see what they thought..i was right in front of one of them and all of a sudden she says ..oh there you are..i was looking all around and didn't see you until i looked down hahahaha
it's only 4" difference but seems like a whole foot on the inch scale in sl

Keep in mind I'm a model, and as a rule, we're quite tall...that said, some sensors have me at 6'11" and some have me at 7'7".

yep I love seeing them too and yes, beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, etc

5'6" in SL and RL.

I've just been at a beach party at the Forum Cartel hangout where we got talking about heights. I'm 5'6" and that's what I'm supposed to be in SL - but two devices measured me at 5'10" and 6'4" (or something). I put that down to the difference between RL and SL feet and inches, not a difference in my height!

In RL I'm 5'5". In SL 5'8", or usually 6' with shoes.

I don't know how tall my friend in this picture is but when I'd lecture him I often needed to stand on a box in order to grab him by the scruff of the neck and shake him.

IM 6'5'' in RL and my main AV in SL is 5'4''. He has short man complex!

Eating dinner now so don't want to go looking for a pic as dinner gets cold but this is an issue that has always griped me with SL.

In RL I'm 5'10". I did modeling at one time...RL modeling. I come from a tall family where being tall was considered an "asset."

So when I came to SL I created an avatar that looks similar to me in height, skin tone, hair color, eyes, etc. That's before I knew the whacked out, supersized measuring scale of SL. But regardless of the scale used, I was tall as in RL and felt like "me."

Then I met my partner who is short in RL and wanted his avatar to reflect that. So I sized my avatar down to be the same height as his when I wear heels. In SL measurements, that makes me 6'2" but I feel like I've landed in Amazonian land most places. I feel like explaining that I'm actually tall in RL. lol At least it's been an experience in what shorter people feel like.

hmm.. would have to check in world... but I think miss sideways is maybe taller than me... not counting my ears... bunneh ears rule for those extra inches!

To add to the mix... My RL height is 6'1"... With my favorite boots 6'4"... Yes, I do look scary. =^-^=

Briana's sensor measured me at 6'5" at the beach party tonight, but when I measure using a phantom prim I am 7' even counting shoes and hair. In real life I am 6' even. When in beagle form I am probably about two feet (on four feet).

Add in a few versions that are huge - a centaur form and a dire wolf, both as large as a draft horse in the body, and a red dragon that could pick up a cow and fly off with it as easily as a hawk could fly off with a kitten.
