Tomorrow, something even two years ago I wouldn't have bet any serious money on happening, is going to happen. Tomorrow is about history in the making. Whatever one's political ideology might be, tomorrow is a winning blow in the fight against racial barriers in American society. I wish I could be in DC to witness it, but I'll settle for FB, television and Twitter. Ditto. I'm leaving political rhetoric out of it, for this one day. Just going to enjoy the historical signifigance of the moment, and what happens afterwards is fodder for another conversation. _____________________

Oh I would so love to see it, even though I am millions of miles away here in New Zealand, I have been following the election process in the States. I was watching Fox news this morning, I'll have another look tonight when I get home from work.

Actually, while I will support my President in many ways simply because he is my President, I will also continue to exercise my right to voice my opinions, good and bad, about all people in our government. That is part of what makes America what it is. It's funny how so many who are saying "We must support because he is the President" are the same who wouldn't urinate on his predecessor if he were on fire. It's all the same game. I'm not playing it anymore. A pox on all of them. |

Sorry, talked to a Canadian the other day who was having to wait 8 weeks for a surgery I had the same day, I think I will keep the system we have now. Count me as one who wants no part of Government involved in my health care. I've been to the DMV and the Post Office. That's enough for me. |

Count me as one who wants no part of Government involved in my health care. I've been to the DMV and the Post Office. That's enough for me. I figure...if I trust them with nukes...and cruise missiles. I can trust them with my annual checkups. Of course, I trusted them with my healthcare for years when I was younger.
