You understand perfectly well that an ageplayer requires certain very specific conditions to function without threat of litigation in SL.

Bingo! You win a prize! Now reverse THAT argument and apply it to child Avs. Not every child AV is lurking in the shadows waiting to jump out at you naked so you can be ARed.

And the EXACT same rules apply to any user of SL. YOU can not go up to a child AV and proposition it. You can not put on your 2 foot long penis to show the child AV.

And an ageplayer should not be in any proximity to sexual content.

No one has stated otherwise here. Only quibble is that some people's definition of "proximity" is a whole continent.

Assume age play or making malicious Ar's is possible from anyone, what ever av they are wearing, what ever rated sim they are in.

All one has to do is put on a new shape and skin anywhere at anytime and bammo.

Child Avatar and PG are not equivalent. There are plenty of non-sexual content/activities which are mature or even adult under the definitions which it is perfectly permissible for child avatars to engage with, and which child avatars can and do engage with, but which is not permissible on PG land.

There is nothing illegal or wrong with a child avatar selling graphic horror/violent artwork - however they could not do that on PG land, and may even need to have Adult land in order to sell such artwork.

And was that real child on Zindra? How would anybody have known if they were anyway? The whole topic here is why kids are on Zindra. An age-verified child avatar, who has actually verified using their real identity, and truly is over 18, is not a kid. Thus unless you can show us real children sitting at their keyboards roaming Zindra with any avatar, be it a child avatar, an adult avatar, neko, furry, dragon, or even a slug sliding on the ground, then there are no kids on Zindra.

really nothing is changing much but the location and the name..the rating hasn't changed..

this risk that everyone is looking at as new is not new..it hasn't changed

the numbers of cases are low now..they will be lower there..

I did look at that link. It still has nothing to do with THIS thread. This thread is about children on Zindra. Unless that avatar was seen on Zindra, and known to be a child at the time, then it's absolutely irrelevant.

Same as the person who popped up in the comments on the blog berating all of us for being concerned about things in SL when people are being shot and killed in Iran. So what? It's a blog about SL, not about Iran. Of course people are going to be talking about SL issues.

Likewise in this thread we're talking about children on Zindra. That other thread is something entirely different.

Nobody is talking about children in Zindra. That is the point of my post that you did not get. Everyone is worried about AGE VERIFIED FAKE CHILDREN WHO ARE REALLY ADULTS. Some are so worried that they are trying to ban them from the entire continent. Yet none that are so worried about FAKE CHILDREN noticed a real one here in the forum. The person in that link may not even be a REAL CHILD but under the rules, stating that you are underage in your profile, by IM, open chat OR even a forum post then that person is a REAL CHILD until they provide the documentation to prove otherwise.

Not to mention that there will be real children on Zindra too.

LOL, but you forgot to add that they will be the ones that are not in a child AV. I saw a comment from Blue the other day. A man was worried about a child AV, only to find out that his grown up AV girlfriend was really only 16.

RockAndRoll, Really please go back and read my posts. I did not say that you are part of this witch hunt crusade against child AVs. Conversely, you did say that I WAS when anyone actually reading my posts would not come to that conclusion. I have stated from the beginning that this is flat out wrong. Marianne, myself when I wear my child AV or anyone in child AV SHOULD be able to come to the adult continent. The adult continent is going to be more then a continent wide orgy.

Jesse, I guess you and I define "Everybody" differently. I figure everybody means, well, everybody. A group of which I am a part.
