It used to be told to me often that there really is no such thing as a free woman on Gor. There are those who are slaves and those who aren't yet. Which makes it very difficult to understand how little slavery plays into Gor. I have heard the actual number of slaves being as little as 3%. I have also heard that Free men won't marry a Slave girl, which is proper. Slaves are not for breeding either. So taking this into account a man can't just go around and enslave every woman he sees and desires. Procreation is neccessary. Companionship. So it is more of a Darwin thing I guess, that the men select those who show qualities they don't like and turn them into slaves. This would mean that the most desirable for procreation were left free. Makes it simple for a woman to remain free then. Mouth off all she wants, ustmake sure some man wants you as a wife.

Not really sure if your preaching or trying to categorize behavior. Try and look into the things I listed. Look into their references in different aspects of life. You will notice that while for the most part is was a simple banter response to the previous, you can learn a lot about me from it. Including some basis for my Gorean simulated exstance and my beliefs.
For instance, the acr, out ran the cops (who weren't capable of stopping me) was stolen ( I wasnt at the time capable of keeping it) by I used it as I saw fit.

guess Rl called and they wont give me a license.

Those 3 cops were in real life. I was a youngster, 19 but had learned to drive in Germany when there was no speen limit except in town lol.So I had little respect for American driving laws. Nothing but pointless ways for the city to get more money out of people to pay for construction on the freeway which blocks access to business for 5 years then wonders why businessess are failing.

I would not identify an Ubar or scribes as politicians. An Ubar wins his support through strength. Be it swords, money or popular support. He can be taken down just as easily. He however does not lie and take bribes towin his position as do Earth poloticians.
Scribe fill a need for adminidtration and clerical work. Poloticians hire interns for this ... and sometimes other reasons.
