Feelings are Buddhist... Allowing ourselves and others to be human is important... even if it is all an illusion :D

Stop watching Dr Phil. You'll have "brain-fag"

(that means "brain fatigue" - from too much thinking)

Pep you seem to be ignoring me - have you put me on ignore again?
I just learnt that SLU means Secondlife Universe.
I thought it meant - TRULY - Secondlife University. So I imagoned this campus IN sl with all of you taking classes and I never went there myself coz I dont trust universities and those places
I have never had you on ignore.

Pep (I just don't take any notice of your more content-free postings)

PS First time I saw SLU I thought the same as you.

I resent that... I loathe Dr. Phil... he makes Jerry Springer look classy.

LMAO, quite a visual, Jig, of something 'snuffling around' all night, are you sure you didn't leave a window open and some animal got in? Oh.......nvm :p

That's why I lock the doors and set my alarms after he's done the "Big O". He has an intercom (which I switch off anyway - I really DO this) if he needs anything out there, down by the lake. The man is also told I dont serve breakfast either. But he has a small kitchen and things.

Uh-huh - see? If you weren't such a conformist, you'd realize the phrase doesn't parse (serial implying several, mono implying only one).

Sheesh - why not just send him right home? It's not like your reputation for hospitality would suffer.. :p

Yeah - like a serial killer kills all his victims at once. You have got it *completely* wrong! :D

Pep (Check the literature, kid, the grown up stuff. :p )

PS As a hint, serial means sequential, *not* several.

Yes, there are certainly friendlier ways of handling this.

When I have someone staying the night, I'm always conscientious about making him breakfast. It's just the polite thing to do for an overnight guest.

Then I slip it to him through the narrow slit at the foot of the locked door of the bedroom he's sleeping in.

1. Cause a lady friend at the time brought up the topic and I'd never heard the term before. Much googling followed :D
2. Cause Jig seems to have a similar attitude as far as men and their utility!!

What you seem to be overlooking, oh wise and tremendously-aged one, is that for there to be a 'sequence' of anything, there must be....say it with me....MORE THAN ONE.

See? Not so hard is it?

I gave up offering breakfast after I asked the question "How do you like your eggs" and she replied "Unfertilised!".

Serial meaning sequence. Monogamy meaning one partner. So, a series of partners, one at a time. There's no contradiction.
