Where do you turn this off, because... I... uh... don't want people to see me perv camming them. They still can, if they have theirs turned on. Right? |

They still can, if they have theirs turned on. Right? No. You can turn off the Show Look At beacon so that you do not broadcast. I used to do that but i find it kind of rude to be speaking with someone and they not be able to tell you are looking at them or even paying. *shrug* I like people to know i am looking at them...Especially when they are using Anti-Inspect shields. ![]() _____________________

Part of our RL experience is the ability to observe people without it being known or obvious.
For those that wish to carry that experience with them into SL, the settings can be found... Preferences > Emerald > Shields > Broadcast camera focus pointer target I found that and other Emerald features listed at... _____________________

Happened to me last night.
I was in a sandbox - a public place - and would occasionally cam over to someone walking past my view in the background. One of them apparently thought this made me look like a bot. ...what? |

I got my first "stop looking at me" IM at a live show that had 50+ avies in attendance. I wonder how busy she was IMing others to say the same thing.
HeHe.. I can just see some person yelling at their computer "STOP GOGGLING ME ALL YOU %#$^@ NO GOOD &@^#*$ !!!!!" _____________________

Sheesh people, serios camstalkers always focus their cams on a prim some ways away then alt-mouse to bring the target of interest front and center. Wadda buncha noobs. Erm. Reportedly. always figured we all do ....besides, double clicking a name in emerald radar wil bring the avi right in front of you, even if 200 meters away.....staring? LMAO.... And since some of you are eager to learn...try ALT-CTRL-SHIFT-9....X-ray eyes... |
