The hair creator who forgot to do a check for llDetectedTouch(0) == llGetOwner() needs to be whacked by a pie.

I don't have Emerald, but when I go to a public place and turn on Show Look At, I tend to see lots of crosshairs on me, which of course can only mean that chicks totally dig me and find me irresistible.

I think it's horribly rude to stare, and would never ever do that. The other month I saw a woman near the hangout (but not at the hangout - and I only glanced briefly) who was wearing what I recognized as strippable clothing, so I clicked it all away and then IM'd her to ask how she was doing. But I never once stared. hahaha! It's an AVATAR people. Who cares?? I went into a shop yesterday and this girl was saying stop clicking on me as I rezzed into it. She didn't want anyone to have the info on what she was wearing. She was so angry. Just for the record, she didn't look that great and I wasn't clicking on her lol. But I laughed. It's so crazy the mind-set people get into. I like to look good, but what we wear, the skin we have, is all made up. The only thing that's real is what's inside. And obviously that girl had nothing I wanted to know. Its really kind of laughable that there is this long of a post about avatars LOOKING at other avatars. hehe |

I had a similar experience with a girl wearing a blocker . . . . she said she considered it rude to be checked out silently and not to be asked politely where she bought her clothes . Personally it would drive me crazy if I kept on getting IM's all the time just asking where I bought my clothes & hair and having to keep searching my invent for the LM' s |

In the standard viewer: open the Advanced Menu (if it isn't already there, Cntrl + Alt + D). Clicking on the "Character > Show Look At" option in this menu will reveal "cross hairs" that show where other people's cameras are focused. Instead of having little pets flying around us, we could have a bunch of crosshairs orbiting us. They could double as facelights - for those who MUST have facelights. Options for colours ..and bling, for those who MUST have bling. _____________________

I love that look people get in the movies when they get one of those between the eyes. Now THAT would make using Emerald worthwhile. I'd go out and buy new computer just to be able to do so if they added that feature. *As an added option, you should be able to hit them between their jiggling boobs as well. |

I have a nice Camera Eye, that floats around my head, and when I focus on something or someone, it will fly up to them.. so they know exactly where I am looking!
