It looks like the actual new forum is here, and the commerce is a sub-forum there.

Ouchy, I hope they're not finished, they seem to be sneaking lots of stuff through Second Life Answers and there are no forums directly related to scripting, texturing, building, machinima etc.

I know I just got home from work and might be kind of simple, but where the hell are the forums? I see feeds and links to the blog, etc, but no forums. I'm assuming I'm just being simple, coupled with LL's penchant for complicating simple things unnecessarily.

After seeing how well they don't work with the adult content threads I won't be posting there thats for sure and hopefully Xstreet is the test bed for the forums before they merge them totally as Blue said they both would be, can you imagine the mess if they shut here and xstreet at the same time.
So looks like here is staying for a little while longer, wonder when Blue will make the announcement for the changes here. _____________________

Does anyone know how login works for the new blog?
I tried with my SL name + password but it doesn't get me anywhere, just shows me the login page again and again. And if I click "join" it just redirects me to the page where you register a whole new SL account. Also, is there any way to change language settings to English and not to the language your computer is located at? Pretty annoying to have two languages when reading... |

They are merging them with the official forums, the Xstreet forum is the commerce part of the new official forum, these forums will be closed down and moved there too. That is not a forum by any definition of the word. It's a Gimped list of comments on a page. _____________________

Not sure about this, it should be what you're doing, do you have a funky password? I'm sure I read somewhere that funky passwords are problematic for certain parts of the site. Not too funky actually, and so far I have never had a problem with my password for any other part of the site, so I'm a bit lost here... I also tried opening the blog link through the "my account" site where I'm already logged in, but as soon as I get to the blog it shows me as guest and doesn't let me log in, no matter how often I try  |
