The USA today is almost identical with 1930s Nazi Germany --BTW -- I happen to be jewish and do not take the comparison between the two lightly. The Germany of history, as well as the Germany of today --yes--I'm quite fond of. Problem with that?  The towers in Baku are a monument to all the retarded jingoism that followed 9/11. In case anyone doesn't remember, for a period of about three or four months after the towers went down, the streets of the USA were inundated with an endless stream of gaudy plastic American flags, often flying from the antennae of cars that hadn't been washed since the Clinton administration. The towers aren't there to insult anyone. They are there to satirize the sort of person who never would have thought to go within 5 miles of a flag factory on 9/10/01, but then became SUDDENLY AND VERY OBVIOUSLY PATRIOTIC on 9/11/01. Ever wonder why no one flies Old Glory from their car antenna anymore? I sure don't. what's wrong with flying a flag? I still have one on my car. In truth I'm still not that patriotic, but there's nothing wrong with finding a little common ground with other people. I also think the flag flying was probably nice to see for those people who were directly involved with the towers, something along the lines of your family visiting you at the hospital. _____________________
