From: Kendra Bancroft Socialism and Capitalism are not mutually exclusive. I happen to be a Social Democrat. Google it.
What you need to consider is the danger of a Federalist Republic (That's us) becoming too enmeshed in becoming a quasi religious corporatocracy. That's where we are now -- It's FASCISM --and I will not stand for this country to go down that road.
"Never Again" Sorry sexy, but Democracy cannot become a Fascist State because power rests in The People. And "The People" choose their own way of life, not a dictator in a Fascist State. As such, if you don't like the direction the United States is heading, then I suggest you focus your attention on "The People" and not "The State". Sorry sweety, but the Red States are growing in number and you just don't make up enough States in our Federalist Republic. Muahahahahahahah Minnesota and Pennsylvania are next on the list to turn Red in 2008.

From: Alby Yellowknife Take all the swipes you like, that doesn't mean squat to me. I'm everything you cannot stand and your angry tone and only goes to show that your unable to cope with the simple and straight forward issues that I put on the table.
The only fanatic around here is you. If you don't like what I've got to say, then (mute) me. Because your dislike of my worldly views just don't get under my skin...
Believe me, the last thing I'm going to do is lay down and be quiet and let you reign over the forums with your ill-informed rhetoric. Maybe what you need is a political science professor, so you can understand Right from Wrong. And believe me, your deep into the Wrong. Awesome.

That map is even better. It shows county by County, and as you can see, its "Redish" everywhere... Heheheh Blue is going down for the count.. Red will Dominate!!!! Kendra, hurry, The Canadian Border is just up the road from New York. Get out while you can. The sooner the better. You too Cromulence... That is if your even American. If your not, "You Don't Know What You Missing".. Ask your Minister of Information to allow the truth to get out in your country. lol

But see.. again.. you have defined a non-existent problem... at least the problem exists, as far as I am concerned, only in a few minds, yours being one of them. Luckily, you and the misguided few true-believer extremists like yourself have no chance of influencing my RL life and damn few others. So I can ignore your rantings there... while just laughing at your ridiculousness here.

Because the kind of system she's advocating, with its mixed market economy and universal access to health care, is totally the kind of system that only true-believer extremists would advocate. Good call there, Korg. Good boy.

History is full of times when "One Person" can change the world. Sorry. None of these cases are "one person changing the world". If no one paid attention to them, then nothing would have changed. In none of those cases has any single person changed the world - it took followers, and depending on your perspective, the outcomes were not "good" ones for specific groups.
