Last time I saw Verbena she was a furry. Then she was a gorean furry. So I don't think she's doing a whole lot better anyways.
Furries are okay I guess. Furverts freak me out sometimes cause they have some pretty crazy fetishes, like the pee stuff, or "vore", and all that, but they're not too hard to avoid. Most furries i've met were nice though.

Torley is my hero. Btw, what's a furry? o.0 Quite simply, a furry is someone who appreciates Anthropomorphic Animal art, such as the Bugs Bunny and Rocko's Modern Life cartoons. Furries in SL tend to use avitars of Antromorphicised animals, for example, you can see my (the mouse) and a friend's avitar here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/TheListener/SecondLife/Tugandmefriendly.jpg It really is as simple as that, since furries tend to be as varied in interests as any other social group, if not more. |

Star Trek fans produce large quantities of homoerotic art and slash fiction as does anime (they got movies that make furry art look utterly tame) just to name a few. This isn't necessarily stereotyped, this coming from a girl who was one of the first people to make the "mass furry migration of 04" to Dusun, where we basically made it into a full out furry sim when there wasn't any (until Forest came and then everyone left Dusun for that). And this is first hand experience, I go to Furnation sometimes, and most of what I see there is fetishes, some of them are pretty freaky. I went to the building area once and found a person building an 9 ball set in a grid pattern, the one in the middle was kneeling, then all the ones around it were put into peeing poses, and it had a object name of something like "1 person getting peed on by 8 guys". Further more i've gone there other times and seen a "girl" with 2 penises and 6 boobs, not to mention that she was something akin to 9 feet tall. So I don't of course apply the furvert title to every fur (in fact, I call some furverts and other furs for that reason), cause i've met plenty of nice furs without crazy fetishes, and there's probably more furs than furverts in SL. What I was pointing out that if you took ratio of fur to furvert in SL and applied that to any other popular group in SL (except of course the ones BASED on freaky fetishes), then it would seem that there's more of a 7:3 ratio as opposed to a 9:1 or something like that. _____________________

though i have certainly heard the concern that free accounts will make for more griefers. Since only one free account happens per credit card, this seems unlikely unless any of these griefers are able to hack into a credit card company, somehow.
