I think most real Republicans would agree with me on that too. My father is a registered Republican and he would certainly agree with you. he hasn't voted for a Republican in YEARS, and rants continually about how he has no idea what Bush & co are but they aren't Republicans in his eyes. *chuckles* of course look how drastically the parties changed over the years...wasn't Lincoln a Republican? That's my OPINION. In any event --one can be Fascist AND Democrat. One can be Fascist AND Republican. He is not a Democrat. He is an Independent. That is Lieberman's DECLARED political Party in the upcoming Senate Race. He has abandonded the Democratic Party by choosing to even run for office after losing the primaries. Also --Though I don't consider myself a Democrat, I am a REGISTERED member of the Democratic Party, because let's face it --at the moment there are two choices. I used to be a loyal Democratic Party member back when Carter was President, I have distanced myself from the party because of the Fascist interests of the DLC. Once the Democratic Party returns to being a party of the people and not the corporate wealthy elite I'll return to the fold. and to think people have actually thought it was historically accurate My Father was a Naval Officer (Oral Surgeon) during the Korean War, he used to laugh his ass off while watching the show. Thought it was the most ridiculous thing on television (though he liked the movie) _____________________
