I don't care about the Republican's view on 'you earned the money and should keep it' because at the same time, they're trying to use the law to force me to do with my life and my money what they want - while the democrats want to take just a bit of my money.

I do have to say, Bush Sr. was a decent President though.

Feel free, but I find it funny that its racist to point out white republicans trying to minimze minority voter turnout. Sadly, and you may not want to belive this, but in some rural parts of florida, you can still get pulled over for DWB (driving while black). Couple of the rural state police posts were rather bad about that, as were some county sherriffs departments. These are mostly republican areas of the state.

Know quite a lot of friends and coworkers that got pulled over and harassed for what amounts to passing through an area. None of them ever arrested or charged since they weren't doing anything illegal, just bothered in certain areas.

Ahem... Jimmy Carter was one of the worst presidents all time. He nearly bankrupt our country, had 20% plus interest rates, had patriatism at an all time low and was the catalyst for the current problems we are having in the middle east.
