Noel, the major problem for the big hitters around telehubs is simply this.
Point to Point levels the playing field, reduces confusion, and makes it so that you don't have to pay 100L$ per meter to have a viable product. The secondary boon, will come when the economy has more money floating around, and in the hands of the general populace.

More even playing field for sales, means more people want L$ from LindeX, which means the big names can sell out, gaining more money for newcomers and oldbys alike (all be it, in different forms) with the added boost to the liquid income of most of SL, (IE less tied up in few accounts) there is more to spend, more for the big names, and small to collect, and re-sell, since this keeps the L$ fluid, it won't pool, stagnate and cause people to loose interest, for the higher the ammount of active users, the more money that can be made by all, creators (who won't be smothered by others whom have parked on telehub land for a year or more), land sales entreprenures (who will have a large ammount of land that was formerly soaking up money in tier every month, and a richer populace looking to open up shops that are easier to get to) and the average user (who will find life easier, and find better spots to part with their money for the items they like, and will eventaully desire, if they so wish, to create, and buy land).

The big picture here... if you're going to sweat a lost advantage, you should look also, to what you gain at the time you loose. While telehubs may slowly fade to black, there is an economic boon shining in the horizon. Carpe diem, Seize the day... may fit a lot of things, but commerce, is where you need to look to the future. For those looking at today, may end up in yesterday at the pace commerce works.

Of course you can quote from a person banned from the forums, and/or discuss his ideas.

What do you think we are living in, the Third Reich?

Fair enough, which community leader speaks for you?

If you're going to say none, well, all I can say is pick one soon otherwise you're not going to have much of a voice around here.

I, for one, speak for myself. I don't have much of a voice, but that's how I like it. I can say anything I want to say, without clearing it with this "god figure" that you worship. :)

I was hoping to debate and explore a unique viewpoint that is not mired in groupthink.

So everyone that disagrees with your viewpoint, or in this case Prok's viewpoint, is not coming to their conclusion based on their own individual thoughts and ideas, but rather because they are mindless drones following a group? That is what you seem to be saying here. And of course if that was your thought, then you are wrong. :)
