It opens Monday. Setup is this weekend. The sim names are PLATINUM, IRIDIUM, PALLADIUM, and RHODIUM. The name of the show, as far as I know, is All-Stars Home Expo 2009. (BTW, All-Stars is the name of the RFL team sponsoring it, not a reference to the specific exhibitors at the home show.)

Skell, who did you IM? The contact person I used was Nikki Mathieson, and she has always responded quickly to IM's a notecards. Maybe your IM got lost? It would be worth dropping her a line again. I don't know, but there could a be a last minute opening, or one of the VERY few market stall spaces (rather than full size display parcels) available.

That's who I sent the IM to, on April 12th. I acknowledged back then that I may have been too late to secure a plot, but that I would be interested in further information if it was available . I'd assumed that she would have set IM to email in case IMs got capped (which they would have done from organising such a big event) but since I got no acknowledgement or anything, I just assumed the expo was full.

To be honest, I really wanted one of the full-sized display parcels. It's rare for me to be able to rez out my skyboxes so that people can walk around and view them, and I even had the whole parcel planned out in my head.

Oh well. Next year, I guess.

Hoever i have been considering offering the option of custom colouring of my stuff for a fee on top of the normal price. say 30L per upload (ie if a top is L$50 normally and needs three uploads it would be L$140 with the custom colour)

Anyway just soemthing i have been thinking about doing

I'm not exhibiting there either - I vaguely recall getting the info on applying for a space, but I didn't have the product line/energy /desire to do so this year. (I tend to have two speeds: fast-forward and off - I'm learning over the years to develop the speeds of slow and medium *grins*)

the one thing i don't buy is home decor, as i have no home. =/ i buy boots, jewelry and clothes though!

Going to pop in-world before I turn in, and will try pass on the notecard via the Biz Owner group that I received from Nikki today. It lists all exhibitors and what sim they're in and also has LMs attached. The show opens on Monday and runs for a week.

"Please IM Nikki Mathieson. You will be able to enter the Expo grounds, on May 2nd and will have two days to setup, before opening day on May 4th. You must wear your Expo tag to be able to get on the sim for setup. The last day of the Expo is May 10th and all items must be cleaned up no later than 10 am SLT on May 11th, or they will have to be returned to you."

This is the only bit I had available not in-world. But I do believe she came to this Thread and posted the info- you will need to seardh within the thread for the articulars. When I have a slurl on opening day I will post it.

Most of my shop is setup, only some signs I have to make, upload and put up to make things clear. 218 prims for the shop itself, Since I had to add a few items (rails), and even then I had plenty of prims left to finish my store

Furthermore today I got my new logo for Paradise Found delivered, and I was very pleased. Take a look and let me know what you think of it:

After taking the Gimp class where we could have no higher than a 500 ARC in class, I have a nice selection of *interesting* skins. Plus the Attachment Point AV offered for free by Immy is fun to wear.

Anyone else in the SL discovery hunt??

The numbers coming through to prticipate in the hunt are hugely encouraging. I am not seeing an increase in saes yet but I am seeing a really good number of people join my group so hopefully that will translate into sales at some point.

Butit is nice to see peole come through and hunt for my gift t least

nope, I have not done a hunt for a long time.
never see anything about "want to be part of this hunt" so... meh

I do have to get back to making stuff though, and high time I did

I just got a notice asking me to be in a hunt for male things only, I'm really not that into hunts but I might do this one.
